The hotel is in a fantastic location just on the fjord. From the room we could gaze at waterfalls through the skylight windows. The breakfast was excellent and the resturant had a great view of the fjord. I am glad I booked this hotel.

First off the hotel staff were wonderful. We had dinner there as well, it was delicious. The wine selection was great. The service was excellent. The sweet thing was that for breakfast.. they had set up the same table for us. Which was so thoughtful.
The location of this hotel and UNESCO site was incredible. I felt such peace between the mountains sitting there on the water. Such a unique place.. for me anyway. Kudos! Thank you

We really enjoyed our Viking themed room, the proximity to both the Viking Village and the dock, and the amazing mushroom soup that was on the a la carte menu.

Very good experience, next to the fjord, the location is magnificent. Good breakfast with several options. They have an outside area where you can sit and admire the nature. The rooms are cute with Nordic decor. The only issue was that there is a window in the roof that doesn't close, so in spring/summer the sunrise is super early and if you don't have an eye cover you'll wake up, I believe the hotel should have courtesy eye covers. Luckily, I had a headband that I could use to cover my eyes.

Such a cool hotel! Perfect location for ferry, Viking village, bus stop to Voss, etc. Love the mountain views from the skylights in the room and Viking-ish decor. The breakfast was standard, but I really enjoyed my dinner at the hotel’s fjord view restaurant.

Had a lovely stay at the Fjordtell, went during the off season and stayed overnight where most cruise goers take off for Voss so was pretty quiet. The views were incredible, food was great and staff was really helpful and friendly. Room was very nice too and overlooked the Viking village

The hotel is located very close to the pier from where we had to take the ferry. It is also right next to the bus station in Gudvangen. It is a very short walk from here to the Viking village. The views all around are stunning.

The view from our room was outstanding. We could see Kjellfossen from the skylight.
The only knock was that our door lock malfunctioned. The staff got it repaired in about 1hr and gave us a free drink for the inconvenience. The food was good.

Sehr originelle Unterkunft im Wikinger Stil. Das dazugehörige Sea Food Restaurant ist hervorragend. Sehr hochwertige Speisen und panoramische Aussichten machen das Dinner zum besonderen Erlebnis.
