We had an excellent experience. Our kids are 10 and 12 and we felt very safe letting them go to different areas of the resort without us. We were there at an off season but had the most amazing time. Every room has an amazing view! Uber pickup and drop off was easy and safe. I would definitely stay at this or another of their resorts on our next trip!

This is good value for money!! Excellent outdoor facilities! Impressive pools & landscaping! Many instagrammable spots! Good food options at Oceana and Bordeaux at night! Top shelf liquor 24/7 great entertainment ! My kids husband baby sitter and I had a blast! For Sure small areas may need renovating but it does not take away from the overall experience. For the price this is a fantastic hotel!

The property needs a remodel, food for an all inclusive was not that great. The best part of my trip was the friendly help from a staff member, Alberto H. He worked the breakfast time and always make sure we were taking care of and always with a smile.

Don't be afraid of the negative reviews. The property itself was in great shape for its age and has everything you need. The food, drinks, and service were all good as well. They have a buffet for beakfast in the morning, a buffet and a place with burgers with fries and nachos for lunch, and 3 sit down restaurants for dinner. Also another buffet for dinner as well. They also have 24 hour room service we used a few times as well. The only thing i could say negative about the food is that there was not a huge variety of options at the buffets. They have everything you need though. Always 4 choices of meat, carbs, and vegetables. Our son also enjoyed the fresh fruits and desert bar. The staff were mostly bilingual or broken English. The water is not the Caribbean, so dont expect it to be clear. But we were still able to get in and swim. We even saw a sloth on the property one day! I'd give it closer to a 3.5 star then a 4, but would still recommend. Only a 20 minute or so Uber into the city costing around $10 per way.

The check in staff was not very pleasant and spoke limited english. Really enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby bar area.
The Concierge was VERY helpful with our excursions.
Mosquitos are fierce in MAY on the property.

Although I wasn’t directly affected in any way,I think they may have staffing issues due to the location of the property. It’s about 30 min outside of the city and that’s not bad, especially for travelers. For the people of the community, it may be difficult to get there (no buses).
I do think the seaside grille (by the pool) could have had better options. I travelled with my son (17) and at that age they will eat almost anything. He typically chose to eat rice or go around to the quick stop and grab a burger and fries.
My overall experience was positive and would recommend it to others. Oscar, Ayshel, Byron were all remarkable, but again, all of the staff was pleasant and helpful

The grounds are beautiful. Other than that it was very disappointing. Food was not very good and limited. The service was not good as well. Housekeeping came 2x on their own otherwise you had to call to and ask. Overall I would not go back. The westin is way better

The resort surprised me with Spectacular views especially of the Island of Taboga and seeing the Ships in line for the Canal...Absolutely Breathtaking...staff was friendly and professional...plenty of things to do on property more importantly just relaxing...I took my cousins and treated them to 2 wonderful nights..my only complaint is I wish we could have stayed longer... if I have a complaint is I felt like the theme restaurants were limited on food choices...we ate at Oceania and expected a extensive seafood menu and were not only disappointed with a few choices...we ordered the fish and it took almost an hour for our food...I still don't know why? Other than this 1 thing I highly recommend this beautiful resort Playa Bonita Veracruz Panama..you won't be Disappointed and they are very accommodating to your needs.

Overall I had a great time and a great experience at this resort. The pros are that we stayed in a deluxe preferred room which gave us access to the preferred pool which was adults only. The service from Eric the bartender was fantastic! And the service from the gentleman at the poolside snack bar Alvaro was phenomenal.

It was a good place for the price, the only thing for me was the rooms were not clean until PM, and when call for assistance I had to wait 15-20 minutes, still no one showed up, I had to keep calling them. But i will definitely go back.
