Had a wonderful stay at the Bellevue in Feb 2025! Entire hotel was very clean, room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. It was very quiet and relaxing. While the hotel felt "full", the pool was never very busy, there were always lounge chairs available, and easy to get a seat at the restaurants. Drinks and food were all delicious. The hotel offers a variety of activities that were not very well advertised - be sure to ask about boat tours. We were able to book a private snorkeling tour at a time that worked for our group, leaving directly from the hotel beach. Also note there is a small shopping area within walking distance with a convenience store, restaurants, and souvenir shops.
While there, we took a tuk-tuk over to Alona Beach (about 10 minute ride) which was much busier than I expected. I was glad to be staying somewhere quieter, with easy access to the busier beach vibe if we wanted it.
I'm not sure I will have the opportunity to be back in the Philippines, but I would absolutely return here if I have the chance.

Impressive 5 star hotel in Panglao Island. Lots of activities for everyone including kids. The beach has lots of kelp / floating see weeds but it is being cleaned everytime.Not crowded and noisy. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Hotel buildings have a moderm design

Place is nice. Staff are all polite, helpful & friendly especially the guys at the concierge. Loved their free herb infused water at the lobby. Location is near Moadto Mall. Pool is good size. Enjoyed feeding their fish. Just a letdown factor is their supposed private beach - on a high tide you can walk up to a knee deep water ( then the weedy part), low tide is just sand… Would consider staying again in spite of that.

The overall ambiance of the hotel was truly relaxing, surpassing our experiences at other 5-star resorts. The lobby, with its amazing koi pond, immediately captured our attention and set the tone for a peaceful stay.
We were pleasantly surprised by the array of free activities offered by the hotel, such as the enjoyable catamaran boat ride and the delicious complimentary snacks. The 12 ft deep pool was simply awesome, and we appreciated the clean and spacious rooms that provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring.
While we found the food to be consistently great, we do believe there is room for improvement in the cake department. Additionally, a minor update to some of the older furniture in the rooms would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. However, it's worth noting that despite appearances, the furniture is not dirty. A small renovation to freshen up the rooms and a bit more attention to detail in the toilets to remove old stains would go a long way.
Overall, our stay was memorable and we are already looking forward to returning in the future.
