The room was wonderful and very clean, shame we did not get time to use the pool and spa facilities

We had a 3 night stay in this hotel. It is a little out of the main town, approx 10 mins walk to the centre, in a mainly residential area. The reception, bar/restaurant and breakfast room were all kept clean and tidy throughout out our stay as was our room. A spacious double en-suite room in the first floor, we were lucky to have a view of the river and despite the cloudy weather during our stay we enjoyed the view. The room was quiet and at times we felt we could have been the only people on in the hotel. We had breakfast each morning and there was always a great choice with something to suit every palate. We also ate in the restaurant and this was equally well presented and delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would visit again if we were in Gdansk.

Lovely stay. Very good staff and very clean hotel. I could hear the the man in the next room snore xx which kept me awake! Also, breakfast on day 2 was chaos as there were no tables!

Excellent hotel, comfy bed, big walking shower and under floor heating. Great choice at breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful spa facilities and in an excellent location

The top floor room was amazing. The pool facilities are fantastic. Hotel was situated close to the town center. Even the small things like bottled water and slippers were lovely touches.

The breakfast was delicious a great choice. Lovely breakfast room. Lovely amber touches throughout. The restaurant was really nice we had 2 delicious lunches and 1 dinner great service and compliments to the chef excellent food. The spa was lovely - lovely staff and we enjoyed our massages and chilling in the sauna. thank you everyone.

Spa was really good

Spacious and bright room. Very clean and useful little area outside. Excellent value and easy walk to the centre of the city. Would stay again.

Everything was amazing

The hotel is the opposite side of a main road to the old town. There is an underpass which also serves as access to Zabi Kruk tram stop on services 8 and 9. The underpass is not accessible. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Neptune fountain/Town hall from the hotel. The area around the hotel is mostly residential and currently it is quiet as the road outside is closed due to bridge work. The hotel and its staff are very good and it has a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is very good and has many options but the breakfast room is very busy around 0900 (the room is on the first floor whereas the restaurant is on the ground). A couple of small niggles (some mentioned on other reviews), there are only two pillows to a double bed and they are very thin. More can be obtained from Reception. There is limited shower gel in the bathroom and no separate shampoo. Also whilst there are tea and coffee making facilities, the tea option is limited to one black tea bag. Finally to note that there is a small convenience store just around the corner open from 6am to 11pm and is open on a Sunday as well. I would recommend a stay at the Almond.

The visual aesthetic of the hotel was very good. Breakfast offerings were plentiful and tasty. The spa was a great experience also.

Yes, great hotel. Short walk from the old town. Great breakfasts. Helpful and smiling staff. The spa and swimming pool was amazing. Good value, and while recommended
