Perfect and cozy hotel for an unbelievably good price. Breakfast was superb, bar prices at really nice. The hotel located approx 35 min walking from the city center. Would go again.

The room was stincky as if no one has cleaned it for ages. We complained and a cleaning lady came. But it didn't help. It took one full day for the smell to disappear. Moreover, the furnitures were dirty and broken. How can a hotel offer such a room? And how come they didn't immediately send us for another hotel if they couldn't offer another room? Very very disappointing and very surprised that this hotel is rated very highly.

Upon arriving at the Hotel we were very surprised by the lack of welcome we received, we didn't expect much, a "Hello and welcome" probably. Instead we had to ask if we cld check in.
The receptionnist offered no useful information, we had to ask a lot of questions. We asked if there was somewhere we could eat and she said "no" (despite their website clearly stating they had a "Restaurant"). We later discovered that the Hotel only does food if you book a half board acccomodation but you can request a meal on an ad-hoc basis.
We felt very excluded from this Hotel,one evening they had arranged entertainment, but had made no effort to invite us and had closed the door to the Dining area.
On our last morning for Breakfast, all but 3 of the tables had been reserved for new guests.
The Hotel had no atmosphere, no friendly faces and we were left a little bit confused by it all.
Not a place I would go back to or recommend.

Although the hotel itself was pleasant enough and very picturesque, its location left a lot to be desired.
Firstly, it is at the end of a dirt road with no lighting and a lot of potholes. This made coming to the hotel in the dark a hazard for both cars and pedestrians.
In the immediate area of the Willa Helan there are few facilities; even the restaurant the hotel staff recommended was never open during our 6 day stay. This meant a 3km walk to get to Zakopane was our best option, as the local bus service was next to non-existent.
As a base for winter sports I’m sure Willa Helan, and Zakopane itself, is a fine place, otherwise my wife and I found it disappointing.

Nice hotel in a quiet area of Zakopane. Happy with my stay. It was about a 10 minute drive to the main part of town.

I had a nice stay here.
I stayed in a single room for 2 nights.

The bed was comfortable and pillow ok.
The room was spacious and tastefully decorated.
Bathroom was good with plenty of hot water and water pressure.
Plenty of car parks
Breakfast was a nice spread. Mix of hot and cold.
Staff at reception were friendly and spoke great English.

A lovely hotel with a great breakfast spread and the softest of towels! Don't be put off by the location from the town centre as the mini-bus service around Zakopane is really cheap & frequent. A great base to enjoy some summer adventures. I believe all the rooms have balconies so you can enjoy the views on both sides of the hotel

Well I didn't see the beautiful mountains, but that's down to low cloud and not the hotel's fault. A little tricky to find, but worth the effort as it's a recently opened and pretty lavish place. Great tavern serving traditional cuisine and good beer 5 mins walk

It's a nice hotel in Zakopane with very friendly staff.
The room was very tidy and had all you needed including a balcony with a pretty nice view!
At this price (which also included breakfast) it was an amazing bargain!
Also if you're staying there make sure you sign up to one of their dinners! The food was delicious!
