If you bring a car into Porto with you this place would be exelent choice. There is no reception but someone from Sweet Porto team will meet you at the door or parking entrance around a corner. They will explain how things work, what to see, where to shop and eat. There is a full kitchen with necessary stuff for light cooking. Communication is easy though WhatsUp practically any time.

We really enjoyed this apartment. Nice and modern space and also comfortable. It was convenient to have the garage space for our car. Porto is a busy city and parking is not so easy. We liked the city a lot.
The property doesn’t have a reception on site and we had to wait outside, on a busy street until someone came to let us in. So the checking wasn’t great. But everything else we loved!

It was a spacious apartment within walking to markets, restaurants & centro. It was a little noisy being on a main road. A bit challenging to get into the parking.

Loved the apartment! Close enough to walk everywhere, especially the Via Catarina Mall, would would turn out to be a common place to get food. There's also a grocery store nearby. I am a believer that you should rate a place while you also take into account how much you paid. As far as bang for buck, this is an A+. I has a lot of space and more bathrooms and sinks than I needed. A hotel room of similar cost would have been much smaller a space. Even better than the room was the amazing customer service. They treated me kindly, waited for me patiently at check-in time, gave me tips around the city and they also called me a taxi in the middle of the night. Awesome city. Awesome apartment. Awesome people.

Two floors, one and a half washrooms, morgen design, close to subway. Cons: washroom and kitchen facets needs to be fixed, no supply provided to coffee maker, has to buy your own. Bed metres was hard. Overall good stay but need some improvement.

We arrived in Porto at around midday, so had a wait before we could check in. We went to the main office and the staff were extremely welcoming. Gave us a map with local attractions on and toom our luggage for us so we could go and get lunch. At 3pm we returned and were walked down to the firehouse. We stayed in apartment 14.
Beautiful spacious apartment. Lounge with sofa bed, kitchen and downstairs toilet. Upstairs large bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere was very clean. Only minor criticism was there was some children's scribbes on one wall in the living room, but it is the end of the season and I guess there hasn't been time to repaint.
The location is good, short walk from the metro and there is a bus stop directly outside.
We stayed for a week so had maid service in the middle of the stay, whichwas a nice touch.
The staff made reservations for us to do a port tour at churchills, free of charge, which is definitely worth doing. It is a new port house and the tour is conducted personally with a good amount of tastings afterwards. No pressure at all to buy anything either.
The wifi went down one day. But this was quickly remedied.
The staff also booked taxis for is as I have a slipped disc and cannot walk long distances.
Just be aware there are around 30 stairs to get up to the apartments, then another 15 to get up to the bedroom and bathroom, so if your mobility is limited you may struggle.
If we do return to Porto then we would definitely choose sweet porto again

The apartment was easy to get to from the train station. Paolo met us and explained everything and gave us good tips for the area. 3 supermarkets and market close by. Though room lacks some cooking utensils so cooking was still tricky. There weren't a lot of dining or drinking options nearby at night though. About a 25 minute walk to the river which we did most days. They can organise a port tasting for you however when I tried to organise one for just myself, although it was indicated it could happen no one called back to confirm either way which was disappointing. Only downside to our stay.

This is a lovely apartment - spacious and comfortable and exactly as the photos show. It's just on the edge of the historic parts of the city and so is perfectly situated to walk to all the important sites. There is an excellent bakery almost on the doorstep and a supermarket 5 minutes walk away. There is no washing machine, but a launderette nearby run by a most helpful man. We were greeted with a clear comprehensive explanation of everything and a street map on which all the things we might want to see had already been marked. We wish we had taken note of the restaurant recommendations instead of our dreadful experience at the Leitoes Palace! We were advised to book into a car park during our stay - expensive at around 10 euro per 24 hours, but it appeared to be perfectly O.K. to park for free in the street next to the apartment.

For the price, this property was excellent value. Loved that the room we were in was split levels, where most apartments have everything on one level, so it just added a little extra almost luxury to feel of the place (also with en-suite) Very nice and highly recommended, especially with close proximity to Bolhao metro for the airport and the Aliados area with bars and restaurants.
