Borinquen Beach Inn

The location is excellent, close to everything you need such as supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants. The room was dirty; I had to get cleaning supplies and clean it myself, especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was in excellent condition, and the hot water worked perfectly. The worst part is that people smoke very close to the lounge area, and the cigarette smoke enters the hallways and rooms. I believe hotel management should designate a smoking area away from the rooms. The staff was very friendly. La habitación estaba sucia; tuve que buscar productos de limpieza y hacer la limpieza yo mismo, especialmente en el baño. La cama era muy cómoda, el aire acondicionado estaba en excelentes condiciones y el agua caliente funcionaba perfectamente. Lo peor es que las personas fuman muy cerca de la sala, y el humo del cigarrillo entra a los pasillos y habitaciones. Entiendo que la administración del hotel debería asignar un área para fumar lejos de las habitaciones. El personal fue muy amable.

Borinquen is an older beach resort reminiscent of the 50's. I love the pink walls and vintage decor. The area is safe and the beach entrance is the sidewalk next to the hotel. My room was huge with 2 comfy beds and a large shower. The hotel is old, so expect it to reflect that, but it has everything needed for a wonderful beach side vacation. No beach view from my room, but the Coqui sang me to sleep and the birds woke me. I'd definitely stay here again.

At first look it doesnt look like much but if you want to spend time on the beach and just want a clean room with nice bathroom and good hot water (which is hard to find in pr) this is the place its small not fancy but meets the needs ac worked beefs were clean and comfortable they have beach towels in room for your use at less then half the price for other hotels i would stay here again. Beach is a 5 min walk right beside the hotel parking was free over all i give them a 9 or of 10

I needed a place to stay for the night in San Juan PR Good rate easy to find and convenient parking 8 min from the airport.

Stayed here on a quick trip to PR. Rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the property was super close to playa Isla Verde. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was nice. The area it’s located in is Carolina, which is where people go to keep partying throughout the night. So just be aware that you’ll hear some noise. Didn’t bother us too much though. Would definitely stay again.

Solo traveled and arrived at this property. Def worth it. Close to everything and super easy to find transportation from the premises.

For having very old outdated furniture and no free breakfast, it was overpriced. 2 nights Sunday and Monday was $375.00

Building and rooms are older but clean and maintained. Great location a very short walk to the beach. Lots of dining nearby
