Because of a flight delay, we had to stay in San Juan for a night. Our room was nicer than the photos led us to expect, and we had only a short walk to a restaurant that all three of us enjoyed greatly.

Had an ice bucket but no ice. Did not receive clean towels.
Bill was paid when reservation was made through hotel website. Clerk charged full amount a second time on arrival and has yet to issue a refund even after this was pointed out.

My family of 5 stayed in one of the family suites, which had 2 double beds and twin bunk beds. Our room was spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I didn’t like was that there was a decent-sized gap under the door leading out to a small balcony, which could allow access to bugs entering the room. Although we did NOT see any bugs at all in our room. Again, our room was very clean. A simple weather strip under the door would fix that. Dreams Miramar was a lovely hotel and we would definitely stay again.

I made two reservations at the same time. When we arrived, they only had one of them. They finally 'found' us a room, but on the 1st floor next to the incoming hotel traffic. It was very loud at night and through the morning. The vending machine was virtually empty of all cold drinks, they had no ice and the front desk clerk did not seem to know the local area.

Stayed here on both sides of a cruise we took out of San Juan. Hotel served its purpose (clean, safe, affordable) but not a whole lot of extras. Which was fine as we just needed a place to sleep and shower. Staff was very helpful in holding our luggage both ways, calling taxis, etc.
