They don't tell you that there's a bar on the first floor and too much noise and alsonthe surrings are not safe is a little dangerous

So from the beginning of my stay I was sent a welcome text with all the information, when i arrived to the hotel i was trying to get in for 30 mins and could get in using the code sent to me so we called and when they answered we were on the phone for a while and the person was unsure of what was happening until he asked us what hotel number were we trying to open and we told him and he said no it’s this number but yet the text message had said another number he apologized and we went into our room after trying to get in for 35-40 mins then we went in the room everything was super cute and small which we were expecting but there was no mini fridge no water also when we went to shower there was no soap. We also noticed a brown stain on the wall which we assume is poop spread on the fall or a dead bug that was killed but never clean. we decided to sleep in the next day a bit so we decided not to do the house keeping they supposedly offer so we requested it at 7 am the day of the cleaning as the welcome text had said we must send the message before 9 am we left the hotel thinking we were going to get a cleaning and arrived at the property and 7 pm and no cleaning was done or soap was given even though i requested this through the text so i proceed to constancy the property and no answer after 4-5 missed calls. I called expedia and they let me know they were also unable to reach out to the property then I decided to give it another go the next day sending them a message at 8 am

The place is good for a short stay and convenient being close to the beach and things to do around the area and old San Juan. ( if you have a car rental keep in mind parking spots are limited and rare to find nearby) and the one bedroom option it’s quit small and I’m not sure whose idea was to put a clear glass bathroom door (I will suggest you guys use a tempered glass door just like the main one to enter the rooms) Overall everything else was perfect check in and check out and doors security felt safe.

However, I encountered a few issues that made my stay a bit uncomfortable. The area around the hotel was quite noisy, with some strange people hanging around at all hours, which didn’t make me feel entirely at ease. Inside the room, I was surprised to find there was no closet or proper place to hang shirts or pants. There was also no designated space to place my suitcase. The only piece of furniture in the room had drawers that were very difficult to open, which made it hard to stay organized. These details took away from the overall comfort of my stay. Aside from that, the service was fine and everything else was good, but with a few adjustments, the experience could be really better

The building was maintained nicely. Everything was clean. The Staff was very polite. The beds, very comfortable, very clean. I was worried because of the area, but the hotel itself. Fabulous. I recommend it to anybody. I think it would be great. If they could put maybe more lighting outside of the door or maybe a security guard or something. But that’s it. I will definitely stay there again.

I love this place , would honestly book this again if I come back , only issue is that I got locked out the room but the front desk were quick to assist me and place me in a different hotel

This property was not as described and was falsely advertised. The poshtel was described as a relaxing and comfortable place to stay but our experience was quite the opposite. The biggest issue is the poshtel is located directly above a karaoke bar, so there is loud music, loud singing and screaming, and bright strobe lights that come in the room until 2am every night. It sounds like the music and the singing is right there in the room with you. There was no information about this in the booking information or website and we were led to believe this would be a comfortable and relaxing stay—this was not the case whatsoever. The bed had a fitted sheet over the mattress, then a thin and tattered fleece blanket, and then a top sheet that was folded on top of the bed—no comforter and no clear indication of if the blanket had been cleaned in between guests. The bathroom had no ventilation besides a window without a screen at the top of the wall we were unable to reach and open. This caused the bathroom to smell extremely mildewy and moldy, and it never fully dried in between showers. The bathroom floor was also very dirty, especially the floor of the shower. The keypad we had to access the room was very unresponsive and difficult to activate when we wanted to both enter the room and lock it on our way out. There were also no coffee amenities and there were homeless people smoking/injecting drugs at the front door of the property.
