The room was lovely and clean, the staff were all amazing, very helpful, attentive and all spoke excellent English which was really good as we only know a little Arabic. The facilities were great and we loved the beach & bar. Did get very busy at the weekends so we didn't manage to get a beach lounger but lots around the pool and surrounding areas. The Belgium Cafe was also packed out at the weekend and we hadnt booked a table so had to sit inside which wasn't quite the same. Ate at some of the restaurants which were all really good. Was disappointed with the seafood brunch as it was quite expensive and didn't include alcoholic drinks which most other brunches do for that price. We did ask if there were drinks packages available when we checked in but was told no they didn't offer them so drinks did cost extra. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the metro which is also great for getting around the town. All in all we would definitely go again as we really enjoyed it.

I travel frequently and this is the first hotel review I have ever left. I feel compelled to share just how fantastic the staff were - nothing was too much in all areas. I was given a room upgrade on arrival, the breakfast host greeted me by name, the Club lounge team were incredibly accommodating, the pool and spa staff were always friendly and helpful, the list goes on. Nothing was too much and I was shown flexibility and courtesy at all times - the whole service felt really personal. The food was incredible - a vast buffet of very high quality, and the afternoon tea was wonderful too. The beach, though small, was well maintained and the free kayaking was a lovely addition. Thank you Intercontinental Doha Beach & Spa - I will be back!
