One of the great hotels on the planet. The only reason I listed the area around the hotel as a 4 is because they were doing repairs to the streets in front, so it wasn't as pretty. This is the place to go to get truly pampered. The room was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and professional. Great place.

Absolutely beautiful! Our suites are lovely, comfy beds and very spacious with vaulted ceilings. One of the best hotel accommodations I’ve ever been!! Spa is wonderful. The pool is very relaxing. We’d definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Hotel is as beautiful as advertised, if not more. Reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were really spacious, modern and clean. Also the restaurant food was amazing.

This is a really beautiful hotel but i would not say that it is 5 star. The room was spacious & beautiful but the bathroom had a tub/show but no curtain or glass so every time you took a shower the floor was soaking wet. Maid service was very diligent & quick for the most part, they have a pillow menu but don't actually have the pillows when you order them & never delivered anything as an alternative. Rooms don't have irons, ironing boards, umbrellas or hair dryers in each room, when you requested one, they sent it right away but it was odd for a luxury hotel. Despite a few hiccups at the spa with bookings & scheduling the treatments were wonderful. They do not have a self book or reminder option for spa services which can be be a problem & the spa is on the other side of the hotel & in order to get there you have to walking down a cold hallway made of glass that is facing the street in your robe while people on the street, lobby, casino are staring at you. The pools & spa facilities are nice but have no place to get water or a bite to eat between treatments in your robe. There were lockers but no change rooms, and it was hard to find staff onsite. The pool, is open to all guests at all times & is very congested by kids who are splashing, making noise & not following pool rules which took away from the relaxing atmosphere. The food & drinks were delicious but despite having several restaurants onsite almost all had similar menus & could not be booked online or last minute.

Loved it BUT we did not know we were staying on the less elegant, cheaper side of the hotel. We thought it was all the grand place. Service on our side not as good. No concierge. Used concierge on fancy side but not around much, need more hours. Long walk from our hotel area to the spa and nicer part of hotel. The spa was great. The restaurants on the nicer side very pretty. Location nice. No one gave us a rundown of town/sites. We almost missed the historical Spa 1 next door! Bar did not stay open like they said it would for food 1st night. Some staff didn't know all services. Mixed but recommend for the decor and old elegance of the hotel. Spa very nice & services were good. Recommend.

Overall it's a architectural beautiful hotel, it's close to many restaurants, shops and landmarks and has a gorgeous spa with very friendly staff. Was at the spa for my birthday and hotel provided an adorable Happy Birthday desert.
However;
* there was only 1 electrical plug in the bedroom (not close to the desk, not near the bathroom, not near a nightatand) so you have to request an extension cord from the front desk to drag the cord around the room for various power needs.
*Shower stall is very small so bruised up elbows trying to wash my hair.
*Access to spa (pool/sauna/hot tub/salt room) while beautiful are only open till 9pm, which is also when pretty much everything in town closes.
Feedback: the pool hours really should be later to allow for downtime to be spent there.
*The room was always 24.5 degrees, no matter what i set the thermostat to it remained that temperature, so I had to keep the windows open the whole duration of my stay to keep the room any cooler.

We spent one night at the hotel while traveling to attend the concert celebrating Smetana's 200th birthday, which was organized by the hotel. The event was well-prepared and held to a high standard. We enjoyed coffee at Pupp and dined at the restaurant Nova Dvorana. Unfortunately, we could not try the Grand Restaurant as it was fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. We stayed in an "old-style" room, which is in need of some refurbishment. For example, the room lacked a USB connection for charging devices, and the bathroom had a somewhat outdated design. However, everything was clean and well-maintained.

THE worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced.
The room that they put us in looked nothing like the photos and much smaller. They insisted that this was the same price range. When I asked whether there are other rooms, the front desk staff was really reluctant, but the hotel was empty since it was on a Monday, during slow season. The second room that he took us to, was what we booked online, so the room was available this whole time! When we went back to grab our luggage from the other room, came back downstairs to front desk, the staff accused us of stealing the bath robes. I asked what bathrobes? Do you see any bathrobes on me? Plus, why the heck would I take any bathrobes? We’re staying here for two nights and we’re just moving from one room to another? We also had staff escorting us this whole time. It was an awful accusation and we didn’t receive any apology.
We were stuck in the elevator for about 5 minutes. We banged on the door, but no one answered. The elevator could take us up and down but the door wouldn’t open. We took the elevator back down to lobby, banged on the door, finally the staff came and opened for us. Again, absolutely 0 apology. In fact, during our two day stay, we were never acknowledged by the staff when we walked by front desk.
We booked massages and facials for two days. The massage was awful, honestly the worst. So I called to cancel the facial for the next day. They still charged me even though I cancelled within 24 hours.
