Hotel Boavista

Excellent location, clean, friendly staff

This is a very nice hotel. However, we arrived Friday night and the air conditioning was turned off. No staff member was available to come and check on our room until Monday morning which made for a hot and humid weekend.

Close to city center. The room was big and the matress very comfortable. There was a wedding on the ground floor reception room but the music was not loud at all. Good breakfast and good service.

Nice hotel staff friendly only question it's bout half hour walk to city center but taxi are cheap reliable I would stay here again

only problem air conditioning did not work. Apart from that good value for may money pleasant staff operation.

Overall a nice and pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean rooms, you can have everything you might needed. Breakfast menu is something that there is still place to improve in Terms of variety and choices. Staff is friendly and willing to assist. Would stay again. Overall value for money.

Nice room, good service.

Amazing experience

Positives. The staff were all brilliant. They were helpful, friendly, and efficient. The breakfast buffet was very decent. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was to a high standard. Negatives. It isn't a great location and is at least a 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre. There is very little in the immediate hotel area. The rooms are tired and in need of refurbishment (we were put one room in error, and then moved to our apartment). Both rooms needed attention - broken lightbulbs, broken bracket for the shower hose, no cups or pots in the apartment kitchen etc).

The room, location and facility was great.Staff were very helpful (e.g. Stephan). The breakfast selections were limited but reasonable. The only problem that we had was insect bites (probably mosquitoes) as we kept windows open sometimes.

We had a marvelous stay in Timisoara, Romania at the Boavista Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Vendetta Restaurant for their outstanding service received by Mr. Cosmin for his extraordinary service.

I must say straight away that the hotel staff were fantastic throughout our week long stay. They were quick to supply equipment needed for our 6 month old baby and they were very polite the whole time. If you are a smoker this hotel deserves top marks. Unfortunately we are not (and we travelled with our baby) which is why we were upset to find ashtrays in our room despite the specific request (both online when booking and over the phone prior to our arrival) to have a non-smoking room. The excuse we were given was weak: "guests cannot be prevented from smoking". One day we even had the misfortune to have cigarette smoke come through the air conditioning system (that was struggling to begin with). The great location, the awesome service, the overall tidiness and the pretty decent breakfast made it an overall good stay. To the hotel owners I would suggest a couple of improvements: mosquito nets for the windows and "real" non-smoking rooms.

The hotel is comfortable and nice,especially if you would like to enjoy their 24h gym. Super restaurant,best food I had in Transylvania!
