Holiday Inn AL KHOBAR - CORNICHE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Not so good experience. Location of hotel makes it unsafe and scary to go outside.

I had a terrible time when I checked in I was waiting for an hour for the reception guy to smoke and the check in time take so long we reserved non smoking room they gave us smoking room we reserve king size bed they gave twin bedded shower was not working no water very terrible hotel

The hotel is pretty well located, is well maintained specially the common areas, the staff are friendly and provide good service. The only flaw the rooms, are a bit outdated, they are in need of renovation. But other than this, the hotel is good. We recommend it.

Extremely slow internet

I wish the hotel had informed us about the ongoing construction at the time of booking. On the day of check-in, the water was briefly turned off, and when it came back on, it was brown. I didn't feel comfortable using it for showering, washing my hair, or brushing my teeth. Additionally, the air conditioning in my son's room (320) wasn't working properly, the room feeling humid and not comfortable. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvements. I chose it primarily for its location.

Very uninterested receptionist. Very tired rooms which need revamping… breakfast had a good selection and the gym was well equipped. Outside and pool area wasn’t maintained and was run down

very classic and traditional style of accommodation, with spacy guest room, lobby and restaurant. quiet and relaxed - i like it.

Expedia shows the incorrect hotel address on the map link. The hotel shows on the map as miles away from actual location. Location on map is a vacant lot. I spoke to Expedia customer service and they tried to blame the hotel for the error, then they tried to blame google

Interacting with any hotel employee gives a pleasant feeling; they always smile and are ready to offer outstanding services, attending with interest any request. GRACIAS

front door congested as people park their cars day and night. No control on the drop off and pick up zone or even signs front desk staff dont confirm your name and room number before passing you a replacement key card staff dont provide you information at check-in they just pass you a key card, they dont confirm your package or explain where you can have breakfast, dinner or your way to your room restaurant dirty dishes, utensils, table and salt/pepper shakers stale hard bread, croissants are bread and the sweets taste is horrible not fit of a 4 or 5 star restaurant. The food is hit or miss depending on the day and dish being prepared. Room Maintenance staff seem to be repairing without any clue how to make their repairs aesthetically pleasing. Wall paper is pealing off the wall. Pool Small and shallow Hallways Are clean and well maintained Housekeeping staff Very helpful and do a great job cleaning

I am really surprised about the rating of this hotel 4.0 !!! It doesn't deserve even 1 Very old furniture, smelly rooms, very poor breakfast !!! Full review: checked in 29th Jan 2023 at room 147 it was dirty, a sticky spots on the carpet, I have requested the reception team to change the room but simply they said sorry we are fully booked and we can't upgrade the room without an approval from the manager !! they asked me to wait until the boss approve the upgrade, but I have waited the all night without any feedback !! Next day finally they changed the room to 150 but again I suffered from the smell, it suppose to be non-smoking room but the shisha smell is horrible. In addition, to all above the noise from the ground floor Cafe (next to swimming pool) is not soothing you like to hear after a long working day. Moreover, the electrical sockets are not complying with Saudi Arabia standards !! If you don't have an adapter, then you will not be able to charge your mobile/ laptop !! Absolutely NOT recommended at all, This my first stay there and for sure the last stay.

A good place to stay in Alkhobar

Rooms have a very bad smell. I asked to change the reserved room but unfortunately they moved me to another one with less bad smell. Old furniture and towels are not clean. Pity that a holiday inn hotel in this prime location have is operating under this condition.

Its location near the Corniche. The coffee shop in the hotel is nice. The staff are good, especially Anas, who went out of his way to assist me. All was great.

Old, not able to use power socket because it’s not standard.Very bad room outside is the bar,not able to open window and very noisy at midnight

Stay was Ok, thought the hotel was at the Cornishe, however it will take more than a KM to reach the sea

Old Hotel needs renovation from A to Z and expensive . Stuff very friendly .
