We were moved to Al Mokhtara hotel by Zowar hotel so we reviewed Al Mokhtara hotel. The hotel hospitality is very good in accommodation and service. The distance is not too far but in the room there is no call to prayer.

One of best hotel to stay in Mekkah. Just few steps to masjidil haram, and close to gate 79 to go direct to Ka'bah. I even got upgraded for free for suite with extra 2 beds.

The hotel is not as good as the photos, the building and interior are very old and ugly, many facilities are damaged such as the bathtub in the bathroom is broken, needs to be renovated, the room is dirty, and facilities such as mineral water, tea, coffee, sugar in the room are not provided every day, and the room was never cleaned during my 4-night stay at Zowar, I have asked the housekeeping to clean it and asked for mineral water which should be provided every day, but the housekeeping asked for payment instead, when I booked the price was 1,750,000 per night but I didn't get anything, I didn't even get breakfast.

The rooms are very comfortable, the service is fast, the location is very strategic, very close to the Nabawi Mosque at door 328. Overall okay, no problems.
