Such a wonderful place. Highly recommend it. The red carnation hotel chain is one of the best we have ever stayed at. Great service. Amazing rooms. Such wonderful beds.

The hotel has been restored to perfection and we loved feeling like Scotland's rich history and culture had been honored throughout the entire hotel. We had an amazing greeting upon arrival. No request was too much trouble. The food, drinks, and service were all first class. Spending New Year’s Eve in the comfort of the Wallace lounge looking over Edinburgh castle was a highlight. The only slight dampener was being given an accessible room for our first night instead of the room we selected via website. That said, we were moved the next day and all was well.

I am a solo traveler and wanted to celebrate my 40th birthday in Scotland. The staff at 100 Princes Street made me feel so special on my big day. The food, drinks, staff and atmosphere really make this hotel such a special place to stay. Highly recommend if you enjoy top-notch customer service, luxury and would enjoy a a direct view of Edinburgh Castle. I will definitely be back!

What a wonderful hotel. It is beautiful on a wonderful street. My room was lovely. Comfy bed, fantastic bathroom with a luxurious soaking tub and a rainfall shower. The best part is the staff. Very attentive and kind. Delicious room service -- I love room service and it's becoming more and more rare. It's an historic building but everything is redone and in good working order. BTW, Edinburgh, in general is full of kind, lovely people. It's a beautiful, historic city -- Highly recommend this city and this hotel.
