go2 Dundee Camperdown Hotel

Booked last minute available cheap room for Dundee. He said, basic but fine. Wouldn't stay more than 1 night, fine for a quick stopover.

The rooms were clean in most places, but I had to clean the shower head and bathroom ventilation. But the bedroom was comfortable and clean. Overall a good stay.

Next to subway sandwiches and a garage with an m&s

Clean room, comfy bed, free wifi, easy to park, nice and quiet and the staff were all lovely and very accommodating we asked for an extra pillow and the chap on reception brough them to the room

It just does what it says on the tin as a budget hotel - it’s a safe, clean, basic but well-appointed room to stay in overnight. The one staff member we saw was polite and helpful and we had no issues.

The bathroom was clean, but there was some questionable stains on the carpet in the bedroom. The radiator fell off the wall (I reattached it myself) and the TV reception was not very good. However the staff at reception were friendly and professional. The shower was powerful and warm. Free parking and close to the city.

Another stay for me here, easy parking in a convenient location for what i needed, comfortable and clean rooms and great guys on reception....no problems for me at all and will be back....again

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, avoid at all costs! I’m not one for believing in leaving bad reviews, but this place was so bad that I feel I have to. When I arrived, there was no one at reception, just an old chihuahua dog sitting there. Eventually a member of staff did appear, to be fair, she was polite and did smile. Sadly, that was the only positive part of my stay, apart from the bedding, which at least seemed clean. The first room I was given had liquid around the base of the toilet and a carpet covered in unpleasant stains. I asked to move, but the second room was hardly better, the carpet was dreadful, the bathroom ceiling and bath were covered in mould, there were what looked like duct tape marks on the bath, the shower head was filthy and the radiator was caked in dirt. It was so grim that I had to go out for a walk around the shops before coming back. I’m not a fussy traveller, I stayed at a Premier Inn the night before and it was excellent, this place is in a completely different league (for all the wrong reasons). When I asked for a refund, Expedia tried repeatedly to get hold of the hotel management but couldn’t reach anyone, so in the end I wasn’t given any refund, not even a partial one. I’d even sent them photos, and the lady I dealt with said she would have “vomited” if she had to stay there. Avoid this place at all costs.
