Great appearence from the outside and even better from the inside. Parking wasn't easy to find but eventually found some at the back. Short walk to the downtown area where lots of shops and restaurants including a casino, very disappointed in the format. Felt safe in the area but needed lots of patience driving around.

Fire panel that screams all night, blase staff, noone on site in the entire hotel. Rooms are big and beds are comfy but there was bits falling off the walls, masking tape left round everything from painting.

Pros- walking distance from train station . Polite staff.
Cons- no restaurant and breakfast begins 8 am ( should be earlier on a weekday). No direct telephone as merged with hotel reception next door .

Awful place, not as advertised. Booked 3 rooms but only had 2 available (their mistake) so then relocated us to an even worse hotel and when I tried to get a refund I was told it was Hotel policy so nothing can happen.

It is a nice hotel, conveniently located for the city centre. The single room is competitively priced and comes with a very good breakfast. The bar downstairs is a nice option too for a few drinks before going out.

Very disappointed with the service and standard of the accomodation. It is advertised as having parking but there is only 2 spaces which were being used by hotel staff. I was informed I could double park but would have to return at half past midnight to move my car to let the staff out.
My room was on the top floor and as there was no lift I thought at the very least the guy on the hotel reception could have offered to help with my luggage (3 cases and around half dozen bags) but he just stood and watched.
Breakfast was average and my room was tired looking while the shower room was probably the smallest I’ve seen in any hotel.

Great hotel and staff. The room was fine and cosy when we arrived. The cooked breakfast was brilliant. The only negative I would say is that the mattress could be done with being replaced as the springs are all sticking out

Nice breakfast and breakfast staff that's where it ends. check in reception guy needs a smile transplant no dialogue or conversation just room 103 upstairs. nothing about where the stairs were or anything about breakfast. very small cold single room facing rear car park and beer garden, the windows need replacing as they let in cold air, noise from beer garden and noise from the kitchen vent or beer coolers vents. cold wooden floor, blinds also need replacing as some are bent and twisted, pillow where very flat no softness in them. hole in bathroom door. room just at top of first stair way could hear other guests coming and going, television had a mind of it's own sometimes would work but with no sound of say no signal, overpriced for what you get, WON'T BE BACK

The staff were great at this property- especially at breakfast ... which was very delicious and plentiful.
A bit of a walk from the train station - up a bunch of stairs or take a longer route around them. But not bad.
Our only complaint was the bed ... you could feel the springs on the bed. The mattresses need replacing. Otherwise I would return.
