Room was good but at the back of the hotel with view of a wall and ugly roof everything else for the price If we had a room to the front of the hotel it would have been very good

The property is located close to the city centre. Shops and restaurants are close bye. The property is very clean.

Stop over on way home from long holiday. Arrived late in the evening. Friendly reception, great quiet room

We were booked in for 2 nights, first night we were allocated a disabled persons room,which was not in good condition at all, I asked for a change of room for my second night and the receptionist was very helpful and we were given a far nicer room, other than that it was alright.

Window frame damaged in room so window wouldn't close tight. Not ideal in Dundee in February. More generally, the Holiday Inn Express offers a modest but decent breakfast buffet. However they have stopped giving you actual fruit juice and instead offer fake fruit juice cordial. This is utterly ghastly, just to save a few pennies per customer. Furthermore, many people abandon their glass unfinished, when leaving their breakfast table, resulting in a backup of customers unsure if a table with a "juice," glass on it is available to sit at or not. What a shambles.

We’ve stayed a few times with use and a few times It has been noisy with guests that have stayed with in the hotel but we would still come and stay

There isn't anything i didn't like about the hotel and the staff,well worth the visit.

Hugely convenient, very comfortable and clean. All staff were great: friendly, helpful, kind.

We checked in with Sarah, I found her a little abrupt and cold, the room was basic, fluff on the edges of the bed, bathroom door handle hanging off and shower pressure was a trickle in massage mode we had a view of a multistory car park that’s fine but after a drive if 200 miles it was a bit disappointing, breakfast was ok i guess, not great but a budget hotel so as you would expect (we stopped at McDonald’s at Johnstonebridge to top up. On the whole decent enough, basic, budget friendly and please polish those lights in the atrium they are so dirty! Car parking is confusing, night manager is lovely but day staff try smiling once in a while!

Staff were helpful and friendly, room was adequate for our short stay. Only complaint and this is purely superficial is that there where no usb sockets to charge our tech, but beyond that don’t have anything negative to add

From arrival we felt very welcome and staff where absolutely amazing! So helpful & friendly! Breakfast was yummy! Room was spacious and clean! Will definitely stay again!

Room was very clean and well presented, what let it down was the lacked proper lighting. The bed nearest the window the only availed light once dark was the very small reading lamp attached to the bed or a very small desk lamp by the TV. Which meant if dropped anything and it rolled into the shadows it was near impossible to find (bring a torch). If you needed to find something in the corner or small pockets of a case, coat etc then that had to be physically move it over to the door where there was full lighting. The electric heater was also not powerful enough to heat the room properly.

The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. My only constructive criticism is there no power point near the bed and there is no mini fridge provided which I think in this day and age is a must.

We were welcomed at reception on arrival, hotel protocol was explained times for our buffet breakfast, hiw to order evening meals.at the bar, and how to gain access to the hotel should we be out in the evening and arriving back late. Our room was on the 4th floor with a beautiful view over the river it was clean, with comfortable twin beds spacuios suiting our needs, I particularly appreciated the hand rail in the shower cabinet because it isnt something I find often in other hotels. My sister amd I had a very good stay and were treated respectfully by helpful friendly staff, Ive no hesitation in reccommending this hotel and will happily book further stays.
