Holiday Inn Express DUNFERMLINE, an IHG Hotel

Stayed before on way to airport, excellent hotel & lovely breakfast. Always plenty parking too.

The hotel was cleannthecroomsxwere big the staff were friendly the breakfast which was included in the price was very acceptable . The only downside was I could not get BBC STV OR BBC2 on the TV but when I reported this on departure the lady said this was unusual and she would have it checked I was only there one night

We were very pleased with everything that the hotel offered It was also very encouraging and nice how the staff welcomed our little dog who is actually only a puppy a few months old

The guel in the pub area with black haie and glasses was not friendly abd not helpful at all. The girl in the booking check inn reception was good.

Lovely and comfortable, the staff very friendly and informative. Got dinner at the hotel, really delicious and fresh. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

The staff was great to help me a lot. They were very nice. Great customer service I would come again and stay.

Great location for visiting Dunfermline, Fife Coast and Edinburgh, maybe a bit too close to the road on one side of the hotel (bit noisy cars) and the room is quite small but very clean and nice decor. Parking is free. Breakfast was great, good selection and the food was refreshed often. Staff were nice and polite, could maybe smile a bit more 😀

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline was very pleasant, room was adequate & clean, staff very pleasant, breakfast options were plenty and tasty. The hotel is on the bus routes to and from Dunfermline with a stop just outside the hotel on main road. The only thing about our stay which stopped us drinking or dining at the hotel was the amount of dogs in the main lounge area, one of our party has a serious medical reaction to animal hair which defines our choices in these matters.

High standard of cleanliness, and comfortable.

Room was clean however “double” bed was tiny. No plugs near a mirror in the room so couldn’t do my hair. Shower head bracket was broken so had to manually hold it to shower. Breakfast was poor, as was really busy and food was not replenished and waited around for it to be and wasn’t. No bacon, juices, croissants, hash browns or knives! Pancake machine gave out a dot of a pancake after waiting ages for it to cook. Wasn’t asked if everything was okay when we checked out.

Sarah is amazing, went out of her way from my arrival (late and freezing), she arranged to bring a sandwich to my room. Nothing was a problem.

Nice clean and staff were nice

We called holiday inn in advance to change room to twin room (after an hour on call we were assured that this would be the case) - but arrived to be told it was not changed - and staff quite dismissive, all twin rooms booked and the room we had only had a small double. there was a gap where the full size double should be at one side - not ideal for friends.
