Holiday Inn GLASGOW - CITY CTR THEATRELAND, an IHG Hotel

Our stay at the Holiday Inn in central Glasgow was without any issues. The front desk was especially helpful. The location was good for walking in the area and accessing the Queen St. Rail Station to travel to Inverness.

Great stay at the Holiday Inn in Glasgow, perfect location for shopping and entertainment and walking distance from the major transport links. Hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, super fast check in, and eggs and veggie sausage cooked to order at breakfast. Room was a good size for a single person - standard room is a double bed but in the space for a king size so a slight distance away from the bedside tables, but all very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The furnishing was laid out well. I didn't feel cramped moving about. As with other Holiday Inn's I've stayed, this one was also clean and well maintained. It's location (very short walking distance to bus station, train station, restaurants, and shopping) was ideal.

It was central to Glasgow, so easy to walk to most places. Air conditioning wasn't adjustable so had to turn off.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights here and self touring was great.

The location was very good and the bed was extremely comfortable and i had an excellent, undisturbed sleep. However, for the price I paid for the room i thought it was small and very basic. I didn't feel that thrle staff were particularly friendly or attentive either. The breakfast was adequate but again nothing special. I would just describe it as disappointing really but it was clean and comfortable

Nice time there

Hotel is in a great location. We had arrived early, very early in fact as we had a very early flight. We were both exhausted & tried to get into our room earlier. Don’t get me wrong, I fully accept check in is 3pm & we did get into the room slightly earlier, I think it was probably around 2pm, but I just felt that had the hotel wanted, we could have got into our room much earlier. Again, I know check in wasn’t until 3pm, but when you have arrived in a city at like 7am/ hotel before 8am, normally in the past when we try to get checked in so that we can have a sleep, normally hotels would be extra accommodating & get your room ready asap for you. It felt as though, the room was not being made available only because of the check in time & they just didn’t want to let us in too early. I say that because there were others in the same boat as us waiting for their room & when our room became available, so did their room!! I don’t believe that was a coincidence. That was disappointing, given our experience at other hotels has been better

The staff were friendly and the room was really clean. It was a lovely hotel and close to everything we needed. We would highly recommend.
