Maclean Guest House

It was a great experience, the room Was perfect for the 4 of us, spacious, clean and the host were super friendly. Walking distance to the train station (Jacobite train) and the centre.

Great stay. not controllable, but street noise an issue when windows open to allow cool air.

This was a nice place to stay and the staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the walk to shopping and food/drink. Ear plugs were necessary for the light sleeper as the road noise at the front of the facility was on a busy street. Would do it again.

Close to town so walking was easy. Wifi was great. Clean and comfortable beds.

This property is on the main road and there’s a hospital close by so it can be a bit noisy but only during the day. It is very conveniently located close (short walking distance) to dining, shopping and the grocery store. Our Luxury Suite room was huge and luxurious. There was a fridge and kettle and a French press and oat milk in convenient packets. (They came in and cleaned it while we were out.) There was a shower and bathtub (which I’ll use next time). Brandy was friendly and gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. (We got lucky to get a seat.) We parked in the back and could leave through the fire door (if only we hadn’t left our charging cord behind!). Ben Nevis is just a short drive away so this was a perfect place to stay.

A bit of traffic noise might bother light sleepers. Otherwise an excellent property.

The host was very nice and provided very good suggestions for tourist attractions.

People were queuing to get in at 3pm. Eventually we were given a key and told to find our room on top floor. There was no instruction book in the room, and we had no further contact with anyone during our 3 nights stay.

Very well located and clean guest house. Just be prepared for thin walls. You can easily hear guests above and street noise outside.

The guesthouse is the perfect spot to stay in Fort William and explore the Highlands. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was very comfortable and everything in Fort William is an easy 10 minute walk away.

Excellent property, friendly owners, great location, we had a good time!

Room was large, very comfortable and clean. Check in and check out was very fast annd efficient. Our room faced the street and we could hear vehicles driving by during the night. Other rooms not facing the road might be quieter. No restaurants or food service on the property and it’s a bit of a walk to the restaurants.

Clean and comfortable and very neat and convenient. All the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was fresh and super clean. The bath had great bath sheet towels.
