We had a lovely stay at The Linton Hotel. The staff was great and super helpful and their full breakfast was so good! It is an early breakfast during the week, but it actually helped us organise better as we probably would overslept :P
Rooms are clean and quiet. All I could hear was bird songs in the morning.
We did book 2 different rooms during our stay as we went away for 2 days and back to East Linton. Some rooms can be small but I do think for the price and location, it was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable. We slept very well.
There are wonderful walks around East Linton and we look forward to come back and stay with them.

Stopped here for a couple of nights for work.
The room was a decent size with a big bed and everything was clean
The shower pressure was really poor but nothing you cant work around
Breakfast and the evening meals were really good and the benefit of the pub on the front was nice for a chilled evening

The rooms were small but adequate. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the choice at breakfast was good. There was a small amount of parking space at the front of the hotel. It stands at walking distance from the railway station but noise is NOT intrusive.
There were a lot of stairs to the top floor of the hotel. There was a poor flow of water in the shower and the water took a long time to get hot, perhaps because of being on the top floor.
In general terms, it offered good value for money.

good on all counts but did experience problems with heating on first day and permanent problems with tv , A point for guests with limited mobility there are 2 flights of stairs and no other rooms available for us. As description stated garden view we thought it was on the ground floor, not the top floor

Last minute room booked due to our car breaking down on the way home from edinburgh airport. Staff were lovely and helpful and made us feel at ease at a very stressful time. We were able to pay extra to keep the room for a few hours while we waited for a hire car

The room was small and cosy but clean and tidy.
The food in the restaurant was great. Good menu and cooked perfectly. There was not a big choice for breakfast. It was either a cooked Scottish breakfast or cereals but I think you could have had scrambled or poached eggs with toast if you wanted.
There is a bar in the hotel which is frequented by locals who are very friendly. Had a great couple of evenings in there.

Lovely little hotel with a guest house feel. We had an issue with the shower which was sorted really quickly.
The staff very lovely and very attentive. The person who fixed the shower made a point of checking we were happy which was great.
I would stay here again
