It was clean but very, very small. I mean tiny. There’s no place to lounge in the morning since the small seating area by the bar is closed.

Quirky but neat place not for mobility challenged. Great access for walking in town and to restaurants, train and ferry.

Great location and amazing staff. Just be prepared to park offsite and carry luggage up stairs. Other than that, the place had an amazing location and we had zero issues with sounds being right above a pub.

Our experience was fabulous from beginning to end. We were able to check in on arrival, and the staff always offer to carry your bags. Property is in a perfect location and we adored the town. Parking is not free but it is reasonably priced and very convenient with the lot being across the street. Wonderful staff! Thank you so much!

Our party included two couples in separate rooms. One room was comfortably sized, the other rather small including the bathroom space. Condition was good for an older property.

Not for the faint of heart. Narrow circular stairway up three stories. Even small luggage is difficult.

The Whisky Vaults is a good choice for accommodations in Oban. It is convenient to restaurants, trains and ferries. Rooms are cozy and beds are comfortable. The building is historic and interesting. The staff is friendly and helpful. Totally charming overall. (Note no elevator but staff will help with luggage.)

We enjoyed our stay here in Oban. The room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and furnishings. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a treat to have a pub downstairs with 150 bottles of whisky to sample!! The rooms are steps away from train/ bus/ ferry and restaurants. We would highly recommend the Vaults.

Everyone was most accommodating and went out of their way to assist. The nicest touch was the to go breakfast bag placed outside each guests’s door. Would gladly stay there again. It didn’t hurt that Oban is an absolutely beautiful seaside town!

Check in was very quick and efficient - I was given a hand up to my room with my bags (& when I checked out as my knees aren’t the best!) - the staircase is gorgeous but there are no lifts for those with significant mobility issues. The room and bathroom were super clean and comfy. Although there was no cooked breakfast around 7:30 there was a little bag with fruit, water, yoghurt and a pastry delivered to the door which was a really nice touch. Was really quiet in the local area - didn’t hear any noise from the rooms or the bar below. Parking was easy in the car park across the street and cost about £13 for 48hrs (ish). My room was ideal for solo trips but know the others are larger to accommodate for couples etc. Central location with several cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as the train station. Have been visiting Oban for years and will certainly be coming back to the Whisky Vaults if I they have space for me!

Great property. Room is large and a true king sized bed!! Love it. High ceilings and whiskey right downstairs. Easy to walk to food and shopping and easy check in.

Friendly welcoming staff. Small clean and friendly hotel close to the centre of Oban and all amenities.

An absolute gem, just can’t say enough good things about the hospitality here. The gentleman was so nice and helpful at checkin and throughout our stay. He called to make us dinner reservations, helped get the luggage in and helped us park. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay here. It's right in the middle of the main shopping and dining area, and was the perfect location for us. The rooms are clean and comfy, and the staff is very helpful. They don't do breakfast, but give each guest a little goodie bag each morning. The pub downstairs is lively and fun, but not too loud.
