L'Hirondelle

The staff were lovely, the accommodation was only and clean however, it's just too noisey. Spent 3 days tired due to lack of sleep. The noise from outside, either people shouting, loud music from cars. Not really the hotels fault but had I known before booking I would have stayed somewhere more quiet as I'm a light sleeper. Hope this helps someone.

Very nice hotel on an amazing beach!

Boutique place. Very clean and comfortable. Across the road from a beautiful beach. Cleaned the room every day. You can get take away from a lot of places near by and eat in the AC. Really enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at L'Hirondelle. The apartment was perfect, the location was fantastic, and the service was second to none. We highly recommend L'Hirondelle.

Delightful guest house fit our needs perfectly. Large family 2 parents, 4 kids. we got two rooms. Walking distance to corner grocery, restaurants, dive shop, and most importantly, Gold Coast beaches of Praslin! Just the right balance of space, nice patio, simple kitchen.

Lovely large apartment with great facilities. The balconies from the sea view rooms are amazing with very nice furniture. The kitchen is well equipped, although we mainly just walked 10 mins (out of the gate and left) to several lovely restaurants. The four poster bed is perfect and so pretty. Loved it! Would 100% recommend.

Clean and nice department with beautiful view. Helpfull and friendly staff. Unfortunately a lot of noise from the road. Beach full of sandflies.

A short 3 night stay, hotel is right in front of a beautiful beach and walking distance to several ATMs, mini-markets and restaurants. Location was quite good, hotel arranges trips. There is only breakfast served to your room so lunch / dinner is either eat out or cook yourself as it is a self catering type apartment. Seychelles is quite expensive and I would say this hotel is quite reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel, would suit couples, families or friends.

Well - located accommodation near all restaurants and shops and next to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful ( helping with renting of car, taxi, recommendations). During the Covid 19 situation our breakfast was prepared directly in our room by staff with the facemask which was really comfortable and really tasty. Even the road in front of the guesthouse was not noisy.

We spend excellent days during our honeymoon journey here. The room was very clean and romantic. We found everything we need. The fantastic sandy beach was in front of the house. Our host - Emilia took care of us, organized everything we wished as in fairytale...

Nice accommodation on Praslin with good location. Even though L'Hirondelle is self-catering, it felt more like a hotel in many ways. Breakfast (which is optional) was prepared in our own kitchen and served on our balcony - a new, but really convenient experience. The welcome drinks and amenities in the kitchen and bathroom were all things that we did not expect and have pleasantly surprised us. The staff were friendly and helpful (including organizing excursions). The room and building were nicely maintained.

Nice place next to a beautiful beach. Great view from balcony! Very comfortable for family of four. Would be good to have some space at the beach that could be used by guests. All together very pleasant.

Very central location and view of the sea is amazing. Clean apartment. Only negative is that the living space and bathroom is open with only slatted doors to the outside eg: no windows to close meaning that the mosquitos/insects get in to apartment making sitting in the lounge uncomfortable on an evening and risk been bitten whilst using the bathroom. Fortunately the bedroom has windows and solid doors which keeps out the insects.

On a main road busy from 5.30 am.,louvred doors and windows meant the only place to keep cool was bedroom.Sheets not changed in 5 night stay.

A lovely apartment, great location across the road from the beach and a short walk from the "village". Having come from sleepy La Digue the road was very busy and noisy at times especially on Saturday night into the small hours ,handy though that the local bus stop was outside the front door . In comparison to the other two properties we stayed in we felt that it was a little overpriced for self catering accommodation and that breakfast should be included in the price paid. The biggest disappointment was that the management decided to change our air conditioning unit on our last evening . Why any property would choose to do this at 5pm when guests are returning from days out is very puzzling . We were offered another room but since we were leaving the next day it would have been too much upheaval to move . The most alarming point however was the fact that despite having been lectured on security and to make sure everything was in the safe and doors were locked ....the door was left unlocked by the staff after they had finished their work and we were out for dinner . Very disappointed and irritated at the lack of respect for our security . It was a shame as otherwise the positives outweigh the negatives.

Absolutely wonderful,we had room 4 which is one the first floor furthest left on the photograph and the view to the beach is amazing. There is a small supermarket nearby and several beach restaurants but best of all the beach just across the road is the best we have ever seen!!! We will return

Excellent choice for staying in Cote D'or. When booking I had a concern that it was close to the road but very little traffic after 10 pm and good sound insulation - slept well. Right across from the beach and all anenities nearby.

With a beach and bus stop outside, ATM 30 m away and restaurants very close by it has great accessibility. However, you do need to be aware that there is a very busy/active small road just outside your room. If you are a people watcher (take a top floor, room 7 was ours, and fill your boots) this is amazing; if you seek solitude then not. Fotunately the double glazed extremely well air conditioned bedroom is in the back and sleep is excellent on a very comfortable bed.

Great value, property and rooms are in excellent condition. Good value in-room breakfast for 12€/person. We stayed theee nights but could have easily stayed 7.
