The hotel is very clean and comfortable, all the staffs was helpful and polite also. The hotel is near Tanjong pagar station about 2 mins walk and has 7-11 near the hotel too.

Everything is beyond expectation, double thumbs up! Strategic location (2 min walk from Tj Pagar MRT); Modern, comfort, and nice room setup; Friendly and prompt customer service; Surrounded by local, Japanese, Korean restaurants, and 10 min walk to Chinatown.

The hotel is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of offerings to satisfy virtually any taste. The only problem we had was when we were given a room on the 26th floor, and the noise from the airflow system was so loud it was impossible to sleep (it was not part of the air conditioning and so could not be controlled). We reported it to the reception desk and they arranged for us to be moved to another room, this time on the 25th floor. The noise was still audible but a lot less so. We had stayed in the hotel a few times before, but on lower floors, and there had been no noticeable noise from the air flow system. I would definitely recommend the hotel, but would suggest requesting a room on or below the 20th floor.

Nice hotel in a great location near hawker stands and Chinatown. The nearby neighborhoods were lively on the Friday night we stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, our room had a significant fruit fly problem in the washroom. They were likely coming out of the drains, as we saw many of them in the shower and jacuzzi tub both dead and alive.

Mattress is firm yet comfortable. Ok selection of entertainment on TV.
Can be better:
Browser app on TV.
Shower head needs replacement. A bunch of nozzles are missing while some have clogged.
Need bidet in toilets.

I suppose my experience with Carlton City Hotel was colored by the fact that I came down with a bad days-long flu as soon as I got there. If it hadn't been for my fever,. I may not have noticed that none of the windows opened and the rooms have only air conditioning, though I felt freezing. I was pretty sure it wasn't possible to have an AC unit which can't also function as a heater. Still, great location near some local flea markets and plenty of eating options. The hotel had a bit too much of a business traveler vibe for my personal trip

Really loved this hotel - room was big and bed very comfortable. Staff amazing. Location was excellent close to MRT and great to food outlets and Hawker Markets. Shopping close by and many of Singapores attractions easy to get too.

The staff is exceptionally friendly. One of my favourite hotels I’ve stayed in this year. The hotel is so clean and the room was absolutely beautiful with very high ceilings. I definitely would stay here again. Kinda sad I didn’t stay longer. Also so well priced I’m still shocked lol

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of attractions such as 100AM, Maxwell Food Court, and various temples. MRT stations and bus stops are conveniently close by. Importantly, the air conditioning works well for the humid and hot weather. Additionally, the concierge is available to store your luggage if you have a late flight.
