Great place to stay, nice pool

The pool was v nice. Great location close to China town and Clarke Quay. V small room, tiny shower room but bed comfy. Fine for one night but no room to unpack or store cases if staying longer. Main problem was the noise. Zero sound insulation so constantly being woken by people in corridoors or other rooms. We had a terrible night's sleep. As my husband put it, you could hear a mouse fart 3 rooms away. Will not stay here again for this reason.

Very noisy especially during the night. Doors have no acoustical properties. Public transportation is too far. Swimming pool is great but umbrellas do not work .

Lovely hotel, as expected. Nice swimming pool. What made it stand out was the lovely, helpful staff.

The accessibility to Chinatown area is excellent, just a 5-minute or so walk away. I like the hotel's emphasis on sustainability: the public areas are actually open air, so this is a nice change from the closed-in A/C environments usually found in hotels. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and very accommodating in allowing me to store my luggage while out sightseeing. My only two negatives were the high room rate, and the breakfast buffet choices were more limited than expected.

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express for a business trip. The location is convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from the Chinatown subway station. The check-in and check-out was fast. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and new (it appears to have been renovated not long ago). The bed was very comfortable. The negatives: room was a bit small. The breakfast (though free) was pretty bad, the same stuff everyday and not very appetizing. But all in all, I will probably stay again for the convenience and cleanliness.

House keeping is very efficient. Room were nice and clean.

Great location, easily walkable to Marina. Near MRT station if you prefer not to walk. Quiet, clean rooms in hotel with pleasant, helpful staff. Good selection of food at breakfast. Would use again if in Singapore.

Had an 8 night stay, and couldn’t fault anything. Great location … Clarke Quay, and Robertson Quay. Lots of great restaurants, and bars nearby. Great included breakfast, and a happy hour (or 3, every afternoons. Lovely Hotel … immaculate!

If you want a cheap convenient place to stay along the river in Singapore then this is a good option. My personal issues were that the gym was under refurbishment and despite the size of the hotel, the gym itself became very crowded with more than two people in it. The other issue I had was with the coffee shop on the ground floor which was run independently of the hotel, and despite offering a breakfast option didn’t open till after 10:30 am and on Monday didn’t open until nearly 1 pm. Bedroom was comfortable, towels okay, toilet paper okay, and in terms of getting around Singapore, ready available taxis in the area. It is walking distance from a fairly good supermarket as well. For those of you like me who don’t drink, they had no 0% alcohol free drinks/beer. So if you want somewhere convenient very well priced and adequate then this is a good option. I personally will probably look for better alternatives in terms of facilities for a gym which I thought was poor.
