Metropolitan Star Apart Hotel

I had a 2 day trip in Bratislava and I enjoyed my stay at this apart hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional. The photos I took showed the room looked great as advertised. I will stay there again when I go back to Bratislava.

We really liked these apartments. Very clean, spacious and with everything we needed to cook. The only negativite was the noisy road outside- it was quiet during the night but traffic was noisy from around 7am. If we were to stay again we would request an apartment that was high up or not over looking the road.

Comfortable

While there are a lot of things to link about the property (good breakfast buffet, decently priced apartment with all mod cons, 10 min walk from Old Town…) I can’t possibly give it a higher rating because I was kept awake for two nights by a boiler in another apartment filling up constantly all night. When I complained at reception the next day, they clearly didn’t really care, and all they said was that I needed to come down to reception when I heard the noise again. Bit difficult at 2am when I have my 2 year old child in the room sleeping(miraculously)! Also, the cleaner left the window open wide and after coming out of the bathroom I saw my toddler about to climb up onto the windowsill- my heart was in my mouth! When I complained about this, I was told the cleaner didn’t know we had a child and therefore didn’t think it was a potential hazard. There is was a bath cot in the room, various toys and books on the floor, and baby bottles in the kitchen, so that should have been a giveaway! Also, the cleaner came in every morning but didn’t make the beds which I found very bizarre! So it’s difficult to give it a decent score because I was so angry about the noise (which my mother didn’t hear in the next bedroom, so I guess I’m unlucky) I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if you are travelling with small children (too many hazards in the apartment) but overall it’s a decent price for what you get.

We loved our stay at this property so much that we booked a second night! It is within walking distance to the old town, the castle, the blue church, the market… everywhere! The place was spacious and spotless clean. A nice studio setup, with all the amenities. The breakfast was copious, delicious and affordable. Getting to the place from the train station was very easy. The grocery store, restaurants, cafés and more are within walking distance of the place. The girl that did our check in was very polite and sweet. We wanted to stay a few more days but had to continue our trip. We highly recommend this place.

Excellent location not far from the Old Town. Very modern and comfortable apartment. Wi-Fi was strong the full trip.

The bed wasn't particularly comfortable as the mattress was very thin.

The Metropolitan Star is a great apartment hotel. We had a studio which was very modern and well appointed. The hotel is also very well positioned with the Old Town only a short walk away. This property is highly recommended.

Fantastic, spacious apartment fully fitted with modern appliances. Great location close to public transport options and te Old Square. Really friendly and helpful reception staff. Great stay in Bratislava.

Staff were amazing, room service was great. Stayed for two weeks and this felt like home away from home.

Clean, comfortable apartment with all amenities you would need.

Only two years old, these apartments are in really good condition and are located very close to the old city (all of which is walkable, as well as the new Eurovea area). Close to station (20 min walk) with public transport at door. Bakery next door, supermarket just up the road and good eating places nearby (and much cheaper than old town). Apartments are well equipped with full kitchen (fridge, microwave, hotplates and oven), lovely bathroom with washing machine, air-conditioning and heating. Beds were comfortable as was large sofa. Minor maintenance issue was attended to promptly (and on a public holiday) and fixed next day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Modern and spacious apartment with dining options close by and old town a short walk away.

Nice and spacious. Two bedrooms, kitchen, refrigerator, mircowave oven, stove, oven, dishwasher, sofa, washing machine, tv, ac and balconies. 12 min away from at Michael’s gate. 3 min from billa. 1 min away from another smaller grocery store. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was very clean. The location was very good.

Centrally located close to the train station and old town area. Property is clean and new.
