Kruger View Chalets

Nice hotel with a great location for Kruger park. Staff was helpful.

Very comfortable. Quiet.

Only a brief overnight stay en-route to the Kruger Park so didn't see much of it or use the facilities outside the chalet. What we did see was excellent and we would return. Spacious 2 bedroom chalet with river view, bathrooms good and beds comfortable.

I liked the property but the restaurant close early

I stayed 2-room chalet for 1 night with my friends. The staffs are helpful and friendly. What really surprised me is that the view outside our chalet by the river. It is also fantastic that the space is big with living room and kitchen. Staying here means you can enjoy the time before and after visiting Kruger for sure. There are swimming pools and a restaurant. Near gas station and Kruger gate. Highly recommended for everyone!

Beautiful property. The only issue was that there was no water. The city apparently had the water off to do repairs. It came on in the middle of the night. I took a shower in the morning and the water was brown! Yuck. The beautiful young lady who checked us in could not have been nicer. I would stay there again! As long as the water was on!

The resort is absolutely amazing. Happy with the staff and service was great. The bedding was really old and worn out, sheets had holes, mattress was really worn out and uncomfortable. The blanket supplied was rather dirty and I asked for it to be cleaned which they did well. The overall cabin was ok but needs maintenance to make it an excellent venue.

I had a very pleasant stay at Kruger View chalets - the unit was well-appointed with everything I needed in the kitchen and the air-conditioner in the bedroom made a huge difference on the hot summer days. The only very minor issue I had was that the lounge does not have an air-conditioner - it does have a fan but all this does is to blow the hot air collected under the thatch roof down into the lounge area. The bedroom's air-conditioner was pointed towards the lounge though so with the bedroom door left open, this did eventually cool down the lounge area a bit. This is really quite minor though and I really enjoyed my stay. The river frontage and small viewing deck allows for great birding inside the property and although I didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. I'd happily stay here again in future.

We stayed in a chalet with an exquisite view overlooking the Crocodile River

Great location. Our chalet was right at the riverside, which was fantastic. We witnessed elephants and lions roaming the riverbed. The chalet itself was ok. It could do with some modernisation. Overall a great stay.

Enjoyed the open space. Stayed in one of the single cabins. Seems that exterior green space could use some landscaping. Security seemed a bit lacking as this is South Africa, though staff assured that it was okay. Seems that the two bedroom cabins closer to the river are the nicest rooms.

Kruger View Chalets are modern efficiency units right on the Crocodile River. There are lovely sitting areas and the pool was much appreciated. We also walked (200m) to The Deck restaurant at the Rio Brava Hotel next door several times for awesome meals. I've already signed up for another week next year.

Very good and conveniente location, in the proximity of Malelane Kruger Gate. We spent a night in a 4 beds apartment, before entering in Kruger park in the early morning. Our stay was limited to the overnight sleep over before our safari, therefore we could not enjoy the lodge in all its potentiality. The rooms are wide and clean, with a common kitchen area and an outdoor patio with brai. The complex has a wide garden with swimming pool and a deck overlooking the river and Kruger Park. It is an excellent location at a very contained cost.

The room was nicely decorated and clean. Grounds were attractive and reception was quick and pleasant. However the walls are very thin in the attached rooms and neighbors were easily heard even when speaking normally.The" View" of Kruger is of the tops of the hills. There are detached cottages available and these seemed nice and would avoid the noise issue. We were given great service and although no restaurant on the grounds, we were directed to a very good one within easy (and pretty) walking distance. If staying again, I would not choose an attached unit.

Beautiful views of the river with many animals and birds to see. Very relaxing and comfortable.

Previously I've made some comments about the quality of the locks in Kruger View Chalets Units. This time, in my friends unit, it worked fine! Maybe too much, and he found himself outside the unit with the keys inside in the middle of the night. Is that a problem? No. Not with the excellent staff of Kruger View Chalets. We've ask the security guard to helps out on that matter, and minutes later there was some one with an extra key to help us. Thank you very much!.

As usual. Everything went has planned. Had dinner at the restaurant (The Deck), as usual, and the service and the food was provided the quality that I am already used too at this Lodge. Had a visit from a elephant while dining. Great place to relax.
