Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

El edificio tres donde nos enviaron al piso octavo, no tenía ascensor, tocaba ir por el ascensor de servicio y daba asco, desde el ingreso a una puerta, donde había cosas tiradas, colchones, cunas, es un lugar horrible, las condiciones generales del hotel son malas, muy viejas y nada que ver con las fotos, el sofá cama de la habitación tenía un colchón muy sucio y lleno de óxido.

Out second time here..there are a few things that were declined from last year…namely only 1 working elevator and the fitness center was closed. All the staff is outstanding. The food was pretty much as good as last year…we don’t bother with the restaurants and just enjoy the buffet. We heard they are going to start major renovations soon, but we will probably be back in 2026

It was kept very clean

well on check in even through we chose 2 beds, verified hotel prior to arrival we got one bed .staff said too bad that is all that's avail - delivered a horrible folding cot up - then upon arriving back after dinner we discovered they had left our door WIDE open , desk clerk Naomi tried to play it off and was accusatory stated that couldn't be as the staff had been there a while and wouldn't do that . lord knows how long it was open .agreed to move us in the am to a room w 2 beds. the next am was awoken by construction crew hammering away at 0700 in full blast . arrived to new room later that days and it was defiantly still 1 bed still with the entire room smelling of must and mildew.TV did not work . when called the front desk was told well you got a upgrade . I did not want to spend the entire vac sharing a bed but had no choice. food options are limited to basically the buffet . the closeness to the beach and easy access to other restaurants was the highlight .

Only negative thing is that the pool closes too early.

This was our 3rd time staying at the RIU in Aruba. Some issues with the room, TV had only a few channels the rest had no connection. Had to request towels several times, noticed mold on ceiling especially by the refrigerator/coffee maker. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Beach cabana was nearly impossible to secure even trying at 5:30 am because staff are clearly reserving them for guests who had paid them to do so. Food is not good.

We had a great stay. Everything was beautiful. Food was good and staff is friendly.

Elevator was always broken or didn't work properly. Not enough elevators to accommodate all of the guests. Staff won't tell you what specials will be in the buffet restaurant. Italian selections subpar, Italian sauces were horrible. No creamers in bedroom for coffee machine. Staff can't explain the beeper system and reservation system for the specialty restaurants. Alcohol selection was low quality.

100/10! excellent staff, service and cleanliness

Not very walkable but we were happy at the resort. Plenty to do & very nice staff etc.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The only downside was the Japanese restaurant was not good, all other specialty restaurants and the buffet were much better.

The beach was great, very calm and not too crowded. We felt very safe walking out beyond the resort. There were security staff present. The music entertainment at the pool and in the evenings was too loud for us. The room was excellent; we were surprised with a free upgrade!

All the staff is extremely helpful. Ms. Mercedes in Don Nicolas and Ms. Elizabeth in housekeeping were so attentive to us. It made us feel very special. We particularly love the way Ms. Elizabeth cared for the rooms and the amenities. THANK YOU BOTH FOR CREATING SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
