very friendly staff. very clean and area around has a lot to do.

Room unacceptable, not clean. Bed with hairs and blood marks. Front desk only operated 1130-2330, so when we noticed it no one we can talk to and on hotel.com contact hotel that link not working

More like a typical love-motel you could find in the area for half the price, but presenting itself as a hotel. heavy Construction noise coming from next door waking us up.

Hairs on bed, bed sheets have stains that doesn’t look like it’s cleaned, hard to move round with small space, bathroom small with unseparated toilet and shower. But tvs big, beds comfy and big, staff is kind

Staff were really friendly, smooth check in. Public transportations, Hongdae street are closeby. We had some bug issues, got bit quite a bit. Not for long stay but a night or two. Younger crowd too maybe. Bug spray are located under the desk back in the corner.

It was a decent hotel if you are just staying for a couple of nights.

The hotel is in a great location. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and sights of Hongdae. However check in time is at 6pm. We were only staying for a night so a very expensive stay for 12 hours access to the hotel. As the hotel wasn’t fully booked I asked if we might be able to check in any earlier than 6pm but was told we would need to pay for an additional night stay if we wanted to access the room before 6pm. It’s over priced for what it is as very small rooms so you wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night.

The location was great as you have everything near you - however room wasn’t clean as I expected.

The size of the room was definitely smaller than expected. It was quite a hassle to move around within the room itself, and if you are claustrophobic, this property might not be ideal. However, two distinct plus points made up for its lack of space - 1) The excellent and warm customer service provided by our receptionist. She is ever ready to troubleshoot for us and accommodate our requests. Thank you! 2) superbly convenient location. This place is literally a stone’s throw from the bustling Hongdae hangouts. Imagine big-name hotels like L7 and Mercure are just diagonally across from this property, you know the sheer convenience that would come out of staying in Hyoo Sik at a fraction of the price (and space) you got from L7 and Mercure.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Perfectly located in the Hongdae area. The room was very small. I think 1 maybe 2 people would be ok. The bathroom did not have a separate shower just an all in one wet room (I know common in Korea). It was so small though that everything got wet in the room when showering.

This hotel is not for foreign traveler. More like local youngsters. The room I stayed, split design and down stairs has full sized bed, no space to walk around the bed. Not even one side. If they put the bed on top side, I could have space for luggage and space for seating. I check in night time and I could tell they just clean the room.

Really well located, nice and quiet with excellent blockout curtains and a HUGE TV. The common areas such as reception and any area with carpet are filthy. Carpets at minimum need a clean, really need replacement. Shame as the rooms are small but nice. The 6pm checkin is a joke, given they as for 50,000 won to check in a couple of hours earlier.
