K-Guesthouse Dongdaemun Premium

The only good thing about this place is its location near bus stops and in the centre of Dongdaemun. But everything else is pretty bad. The room is tiny with no closets to hang clothes, and if you have suitcases, there's hardly any room to move around. The shower situation is weird because there's just a hose and you have to shower in the same space as the toilet, so everything (including your towels) gets wet. The bed is really hard and you can literally feel the springs poking you. Plus, they don't change the bed sheets at all even if you're staying for more than a week. You also have to get new towels yourself from the 3rd floor if you want fresh ones. The person at the front desk wasn't very friendly, maybe because they couldn't speak English well? On top of everything else, it's way too noisy. You can hear the guests next door talking, all the honking of cars, and even the sirens of police cars and ambulances outside. Overall, it wasn't a good experience, but we were so tired from our travels that we managed to sleep anyway.

Location was great; DDP History and Culture Park station was a few minutes away, and airport bus was a few minutes walk as well. Service was quite disappointing. Staff were unfriendly and curt, and I saw housekeepers sitting along the corridors of the rooms (ie right outside my room) when I left my room in the late afternoon. It did not look professional at all.

The place is nice and clean, and the staffs are very accommodating.

It’s good about the position of guesthouse because guesthouse is near dongdaemun history&culture park station walk about 4-5min. And it’s not good if you choose the room that not have a window because the weather is not flow.

the window needed fixing and sound proof need to improve or else its just people are too noisy. Location is close enough to metro. has lift is a plus ! only the bathroom is really small

They have got the kitchen and elevator. Room super clean. Near airport bus 6001 and metro lines (orange, blue, and green). One bad thing is the wall do not thick enough, you can hear the traffics even from floor.7 and also your next room chit-chat. Will come back to this place :)

Room rate reasonable and included breakfast for guest

Place is easy to locate & has a convenient shop at the first floor. The room may be a little small if you are staying with a large group but nonetheless the staff are friendly & helpful. Overall, it has been a great experience for me.

Small room, little to no walk way when luggage is opened. Poor soundproofing from the toilet.

The single room is super small I could not fully open my 28’ suitcase The room is poorly maintained and dirty I even saw crockroach crawling over the towel

It's located at Exit 4 of Dongdaemun Stadium & Culture Park, you may find a very difficulties when you carrying heavy luggage as there is NO escalator at subway for Exit 4, I wouldn't suggest for old-aged travelers. The only advantage is, Dongdaemun Culture Park Station is the intersection of 3 subway lines.The water in shower room can split over the bedroom, and the hotel only provide housekeeping once in every 3 days. Hotel cleanliness and housekeeping have to be improved. It provides simply breakfast (bread, instant noodles, milks, juices) and it's same everyday where you need to clean the dishes after using it. Most of the receptionist can speak English. Basically this is a very budget hotel, unless you have a cheapest deal, it may worth to go for it.

This hotel is very good and accessible from anywhere in Seoul.

Price is reasonable with the simple accommodation stay. From Dongdaemun culture & history station, exit 8, the hotel is at the back with 5 mins walk.

Good and budgeted accomdotion, the room is new and clean, the location is convenient, recommendable for travelling in Seoul

1. The bed sheet contained stains and unknown body hairs. The staff gave excuses (the stains cannot be washed) and did not want to change the bed sheet when I told her. She eventually agreed to change it after I pursued her for a while. 2. I smelled the smoke from the toilet vent every night during my stay. 3. I heard the sound of scratching on wall and the pumping sound of the water supply. 4. The decoration is relatively modern 5. The water supply is strong (strong enough to let someone else hearing it as Point 3) 6. You shall bring your gf/bf here if you want a break up

There were several stains on the pillow case. Hair drop on the toilet tube before me and my friend used it. It located beside the main room so it's quiet noisy at night and couldn't sleep well but with convenience area.
