Matthieu Yeosu

Perfect place!

The staff truly makes Matthieu Yeosu an excellent hotel choice. They took the time to answer my numerous restaurant questions with great suggestions for local specialties. They even had a pre printed restaurant list with 18 different locations and and photos of each of their standout dishes. That is 10 star service for sure! The deluxe twin room was very reasonable priced and spacious. Most impotently the room had good air conditioning with a comfortable bed (note that many hotel beds in Korea can be on the extra firm side). Ride the cable car at night and during the day to top off your trip to Yeosu.

Not bad to stay if you want to stay near the ktx expo station. Other then that its just a tiny small room just for sleeping purpose not more then that

we had a smaller room but comfy bed, nice bath, clean and all we needed. Good AC and linens. Staff did not speak good english except one lady but tried to help if she could. No breakfast on site, nice little coffee/tea shop with desserts but did not open until 9-10 am. One down side was fire alarm went off twice in our 7 day stay in middle of night :( once evacuated and all was fine. Second time shut off quickly...did get one night refunded.

Excellent location, clean room and staff were friendly.

Good location--it was within walking station of everything. The shower pressure was good and amenities adequate. The good ends there...when we checked in, we found a used cigarette in the bathroom, despite the room being a non-smoking one. The bathroom always smelled like a raw sewer the entire time we were there. Combined with the lingering cigarette smoke, we felt sick the entire time we were at Mattieu and were happy to check out. The hotel was booked solid so the front desk couldn't move us to another room. This hotel was cost effective, but I would suggest paying a little more and staying somewhere with better plumbing.

there was a guy who looked like a vandal and was talking with the counter staff. It was not a nice atmosphere in the hotel.

Very clean, great location in the city.

It was good overall. It was close from Yeosu Expo station.

Room air-con should be cleaned up. Looking at the Air conditioner, there were black molds everywhere near. The room was smelly and humid.

とても良いホテルでしたが、室温が暑過ぎて調節できなかったのが辛かったです。

駅からTAXIで行きましたが、問題なく到着しました。 部屋もキレイでした。フロントのスタッフさんも問題なかったです。徒歩で10分位で駅にも行けます。バス利用で市内に行くのも便利でした。 特典クーポンを利用して1階のカフェで朝食にベーグルを戴きましたが、店員さんが無愛想過ぎました。 韓国語が話せないので仕方ないのかもですが、外国の方も多いと思うので残念でした。 ベーグルも一人のは解凍しきれてなかったです。 その後、屋上などを散策しました。 景色が綺麗で先程のカフェでの出来事が帳消しになるほど心が洗われました。

初めての麗水旅の時に宿泊して、麗水EXPO駅より徒歩圏内で静かでよかったので、今回も宿泊しました。 毎年麗水には旅したいと思っているので、来年もお世話になる予定です。
