The stay was great, but the location is lacking. Not really the hotels fault but still an inconvenience.

Too many facilities not available

My fiancée and I were excited to stay at this hotel for our night in Seoul before we flew out to Busan the next day from Gimpo airport. This was a “splurge” for us since we usually would not pay the amount we did for the night but thought it would be worth it based on the pictures and proximity to the airport. I would not doubt this hotel would be fine for most people living in Korea/have a car. As foreigners who just landed with only public transportation to get around, this hotel could not have been more inconvenient. Though an airport bus does drop you off nearby, it is not an easy walk to the actual hotel/lobby. They provide no sidewalk so you have to hope cars don’t hit you if any pass by. Additionally, they have multiple buildings throughout the property, which was unclear from our booking, and we ended staying at their “suites” building, which in my opinion, was not great for the price. It was obvious it has not been updated in a while, and the room itself was spacious but just did not seem worth it considering all other factors. Maybe the rooms in their main building are “nicer” but I am unsure what room you have to book to actually stay there. Though it was nice that they had a CU convenience store on the first floor of our building, and they were also nice enough to store our luggage until we had to leave for our flight. Overall, for those people booking this thinking it will be a good stop before heading to Gimpo airport, unless you are a local, it isn't worth it.

The property is beautiful and walking around the grounds at night was peaceful. The food was amazing and the service and staff friendliness was superb. There is a convenience store at the pool / suites area you can buy snacks from. You can take a shuttle to gimpo Airport. My room was very clean and nicely layed out and decorated. Plenty of amenities and the floor manager even remembered my name which was nice. This is moreso a luxury hotel for travelers coming / going from airport.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted for our stay. Everyone was wonderful

Late night stay due to canceled flight. No food available. I chose it due to "airport shuttle" but arrived to find my airport was not on the list. Staff is awesome and facilities are beautiful, just felt they should clarify theshuttle issue.

5 star experience!

호텔은 깨끗하고 서비스도 좋았지만 특히 도어 앞에서 도와주시는 분들이 매우 좋았습니다 내가 예약한 객실은 빌라였지만 너무 혼자 사용하기에 넓어서 교체 요구했고 무리 없이 해주었다.

If you’re looking for easy access to sightseeing locations, this may not be the best option. Public transportation is limited, and getting around often requires using taxis. Even from Gimpo Airport, the only practical way to reach the hotel is by taxi. However, many taxi drivers were reluctant to make the trip because the distance was too short for a drive yet too far to walk, and there’s no subway station nearby to offer an alternative.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean, comfortable. It is in an isolated area without stores and restaurants nearby, but it worked out well for us.

Super Clean and quiet. Beautiful grounds. They had golf (which we didn't partake in) and a child's swimming pool that we did have fun in. Surrounded by lush trees and grass, great walkways. Lots of nature and never encountered bugs. The breakfast staff was extraordinarily kind, especially to my 3yo, the hostess walked her in every morning holding her hand and let her choose our table. We stayed in a Family Suite Twin room, which had a separate living room and even laundry. We didn't end up doing laundry but it was an added convenience. We would stay there again.

My stay at Mayfield Hotel Seoul was very comfortable. I liked the garden and breakfast. Staffs were very professional and my room was very clean.
