The location was great. It was walking distance to the train station. There are plenty of shopping and food around this location. The breakfast didn’t have many options. It was the same food everyday. We booked 2 rooms and it wasn’t spacious at all. One of the room didn’t have a shower. Instead, it had a bathtub with a curtain. It was difficult to use the spray. Water would splash everywhere. Overall, the staffs are very friendly.

Within 2 minutes walk from Hongdae metro station, clean room though not exactly the most spacious (thank you for the upgrade) and overall very comfortable stay. No toiletries (other than bath gels, shampoo and lotion) provided because of sustainability reasons I suppose. On my last night two of the three elevators to the guest rooms were down at the same time so there was a bit of queue to go up to rooms but all’s good.

Location is very convenient, right in the Hongdae street. Shop and drop your loots back in Hotel.
Staff is very helpful and nice. Room is in great condition just that this period there is construction at level with the pop-out store, so will hear some drilling.

Very close to the subway. Depending on which subway line you are coming from, there can be a short or a bit of walk to the hotel underground. Exit #9. Quiet, clean, and modern. Would stay here again. Breakfast was decent spread.

Note that there are two entrances for this hotel: You can enter from inside Musina Standard Store on Yanghwa-ro street during the store's business hours (the hotel's lobby is connected to the back of the store), or the second entrance is the main entrance on Hongsik-ro street.

This was one of the easiest stays of all locations I've traveled. The train and bus stops are less than 100m away and there are countless restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, and olive youngs near by. The hotel has a great view of hongdae and has all of the amenities except for a pool... Not that you will go swimming in one of the busiest and fun locations in all of Asia.

The staff at this hotel is incredible all around, I cannot stress this enough. The hotel is right in the middle of a lot of restaurants and things to do, which was exactly what we were hoping for. The room was great: comfortable, clean, and quiet. We will absolutely be staying here every time we return to Seoul.

It has been our second time visiting Mercure. The rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. Staff are friendly and helful. Located so conveniently in the heart of Hongdae, you never run out of things to do. Highly recommend!

The hotel was near by the public met station , University Hongdae, and surrounded by lots of shopping, dining, cafe options but this is the ONLY good thing about this property. The hotel is old and have deficit around the sink area and lots of furnitures, depending on the room you get upon check-in. It is not up to a 4 star hotel standard, but if you don’t mind the above, its location is the best. Staffs are friendly.
