The room looks exactly like the pictures. The location is really strategic near Myeongdong Station and in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful. They are good at speaking English too. One of them even helped us to weight our luggage to prevent overweight before we checked out. We also used the luggage storage service. Definitely will come back!

This hotel was perfect. The location is ideal if you would like to enjoy the night market or do some shopping. The location has so much within walking distance. We knew the rooms would be small, but it worked well for our family of four and our kids loved their spaces. The staff was really the best part. Both at check in and check out. The staff was phenomenal. They spoke wonderful english and were incredibly helpful. Our flight came in late, and they texted to make sure we knew how to check in if arriving late. They were great about letting us store our luggage as well the next day for our late flight home.

It was my second stay at this hostel and I purposely came back as I enjoyed my first stay. The location of the hostel is just great to discover Seoul. The rooms are quite modern though nothing has changed since I have been here 4 years ago. Rooms are though tiny and have no windows. The staff is kind. It doesnt really feel like a hostel though as you hardly see any other guests. So if you ate up for meeting new people this is not for you.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy and smooth check in. Was kindly shown where everything in the room was or how ithings worked eg. Under floor heating. Simple breakfast of toast and cereal which was enough for me. The double room was very big, clean and well kept. Would recommend and stay here again.

Friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best locations in Seoul. Walking out the door into the heart of downtown. We never needed to take a cab. Enjoyable breakfast nook and easy access to wifi. Small and cozy rooms. Beds were a little hard. We would gladly book again.

stayed on the second floor of the hostel, thanks for paying attention to my request - very sensitive to noises, a quiet room.... i must not be able to sleep on the first floor because of the noise outside... they gave me Rm 512, it was very quiet, although it's small....what can i say for the price? staff were friendly with smiles, would recommend the hostel to my friends. thank you so much!

Philstay Myeongdong Station is located very near the subway. It is also very easy to locate! I will rate convenience 5/5!
The bed is comfortable, bedsheets are clean. They provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Theres free wifi in the room and in the common eating area. There’s also filtered water (hot and cold) for all to drink at the common area.
The staff are generally friendly and helpful.
A big shoutout to Jeong who cooked delicious food and enjoys sharing it with the guests staying at Philstay! He also helped us with SAFEX service when we registered our luggages pretty late. Thank you Jeong for the excellent service!!
My friend and I will definitely come back to Philstay Myeongdong Station if we are gg back to Myeongdong!!

The hostel is amazing, with their location, room size. The staffs are very helpful, they can speck English, and Chinese as well.
They are very polite and kind, always very keen to help us out during our whole trip had gave us a great experience and memory for our first trip in Korea.

The location is excellent! Close to Limousine bus and train stations. You will never get hungry in this neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and food vendors. There are even 2 restaurants in the same building. Also, all the staff were friendly. The receptionist even gave each of us a face mask when we checked out.
