I stayed in Hotel M's cheapest room with my girlfriend for about four nights. It was a beautiful clean room which had A/C, a small couch, a computer, a large TV mounted to the wall (with some English channels!!), a small fridge and a great bathroom. Although the room was small, there was space to put our bags underneath the counter next to the fridge and under the TV so we didn't feel cramped at all. The room had dim coloured light which you can turn on at night while you sleep which was relaxing. In addition, throughout the foyer and corridors to your room quiet piano music was played which made the place feel very fancy for such a reasonably priced hotel. We had no difficulties communicating in English to the staff which was a stress reliever as it can be a challenge sometimes when you are abroad. They were always very helpful. The location of Hotel M is excellent. It is only a few minutes away from Sinchon Station and it is a short walk to great bars and restaurants. I give the Hotel M 100% rating and I will definitely be back!
Firstly, I personally love the layout and the design of the interior as well as the exterior of the hotel. Even though it is not a big hotel, however, I feel that the size is just right for me. The spacing on the floor are quite limited though.. So I left my luggage on the couch that's located right outside the washroom! When I'm in the room of the hotel I felt very comfortable, on top of that, some of the hotels are super dark and scary, but for a timid lady like me, I've never once complained that I feel scared or creepy neither do I have difficulties sleeping at night during my long stay in M hotel with my boyfriend for my very memorable 21st birthday. Even though the staffs there can't speak English at all, but the boss there knows how to speak fluent English and this makes everything so much more easier especially when we have to communicate to request for any special service etc! The only bad thing about the hotel is the location. The hotel is located quite far away from the subway station. But the nearest subway station is still very convenient if we want to travel to any tourist attractions like Dongdaemun, ewha university, Hongdae university, myeongdong etc... Adding on, What's more can we ask for when we could have all these good advantages and we're just paying less than SGD$100 a night? Totally worth it! Will definitely come back to M hotel again for my next Korea trip! **two thumbs up*
