Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro

Is very noisy, there is some work near the hotel, I asked the cleaners to clean my room multiple times but no one came, also the room was so small for two people

This hotel was in a great location. There is an airport bus stop & subway station only a 5 minute walk away and is only a 15 minute walk away from the Myeongdong night market. The Staff were all very helpful. It's a no-frills hotel. I would recommend as an ideal base for a anyone looking to spend most of their time out of the hotel and exploring Seoul.

Good location near MYEONGDONG with very good train access nearby. Friendly staff But room was stuffy and had to open the window to ventilate. Air conditioning system difficult to understand and never blew cool air while we were there. Overall a bit disappointing

Prior to check in, I was unaware of the hotel’s eco-friendly measures, so I was caught by surprised when they told us the hotel only tidies the room every two days and cleans the room every three days. Also, no amenities were offered, so I had to manage with the convenience store around the corner.

This property can’t be beat for the price point. The staff at the front were super helpful with a variety of questions we directed at them. They allowed us to leave our luggage in the lobby when we first arrived as we got there before check in time. The bidet in the bathroom was really nice, but they also discourage flushing toilet paper down the commode so that was a minor inconvenience. Location was great and walkable to restaurants, subway, bus stops, cafes, etc. Close enough to be about a 15min walk from some of the bigger shopping areas and touristy spots but far out enough that it was never loud or disruptive outside. There is a large property next door that they’re doing construction work on so there was some unwelcome loud banging and hammering noises super early in the morning, like before 7a at times, but there’s not much the hotel can do about that. Also, pillows were terrible. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s in a safe and great location with respect to the airport express bus, the metro line, and the Myeongdong Night Market. We only stayed for 1 evening and the staff was extremely helpful and helped answered our questions. Amenities were good and perfect for the 1-night stay. I would stay here again if we have a 1-2 day stop in Seoul and want to be close to the Myeongdong surrounding areas and shopping area.

Stayed here 2 times already throughout my trips to Seoul only because it’s a very convenient location being in the centre and pretty much walkable and closer to a train station. Staff were nice and helpful. Room not so much! I had the same expectation as i had the first however, during my recent stay our room was clean from the first glance but looking closely the furnitures have major rust damage and even worse I looked underneath our bed and found thick layers of dust and other small items left behind by past travelers!! Clearly our room hasn’t been cleaned and vacuumed thoroughly. As someone who have bad dust allergies this was a big no! I won’t consider coming back here, will take my business elsewhere. Thank you

The room was very dirty. Carpet had so many stains. Bathroom had so much mold in every nook and cranny.. The shower head had mold on it and we have to shower with that which is disgusting. I cannot say anything positive with this hotel. Even the staff seemed bored with their job and were not very helpful.

The room is too hot, and the AC is not working I let the front desk know but still not able to fix my concerns, I have to open the windows to have cold air. The room feels like a steam room

Travelodge Myeongdong Eulijro is a nice hotel in a good location. About one hour and 25 minutes from Incheon on public transport. The room itself is well maintained though you can tell its age. Housekeeping has changed to be ecofriendly which is nice. Pillows could be more firn but that is personal preference.

The stay was great. Rooms are small of course and beds are hard. The bathroom is standard. It was a short stay so extreme comfort wasn’t a requirement for us. The hotel is in a great location right outside is the subway entrance and many restaurants and convenience stores.

if your idea for a hotel in your travels is to clean and do your own bed, this is the hotel for you. Staff only cleans your room once or twice a week. Location of the hotel is good and nearby public transportation. I would not return to this hotel.

Close to the subway and Myeong-dong shopping center. Many good restaurants around the hotel.

Tiny rooms, cleaning every 3 days if you are lucky, no fresh towels double bed is too small, poor breakfast, bad communication, no English.

I like the location, clearness, and very kind front desk of the hotel, I will stay again in future.
