Overall, we had a great experience during our stay. We arrived around 11am, planning to just drop off our luggage before heading out, but the owner's son kindly let us check in early and even lent me an umbrella. The building had a pleasant peach scent throughout and was clean.
Our twin room was spacious and well-kept, equipped with a hairdryer, TV, mini fridge, and a box of basic care items including face cleanser, skincare products, hydrating mask, a razor, and aftershave. The bathroom was roomy enough to keep the sink and toilet areas dry, which was great!
The breakfast area was cozy and welcoming. The owner personally prepared eggs and ham for us and took the time to chat about the city, which made the experience feel even more personal. After checkout, the hotel also stored our luggage for us since our departure to Seoul was later that evening.
There’s a convenience store nearby and a laundromat right across the street, which added to the overall convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

the place was very clean and comfortable. Short walk to bus station. and very nice walking trail, the only one negative was there seemed to be some businessmen clubs around. although that said I never felt unsafe. It work
out great for me visiting my son who was teaching English in Pohang.

Fantastic run hotel, WiFi very good, few English language TV channels. Comfy beds, air conditioning that worked well. Shower/toilet in same room but floor at an angle so toilet area doesn't get wet.
Free breakfast was at the right time for early starters 0700-0830 week days. Later on weekends. Cereal, coffee and fantastic ham, cheese, lettuce, egg toasted sandwich made fresh by the host.
Only problem was finding it as it was not lit up so was dark when we drove by at night.

포항공대 근처에서 가장 모텔 같지 않은 숙소를 찾다가 선택한 곳. 사장님이 매우 친절하시고 방은 작지만 따뜻하고 청결해요. 저는 월요일에 이용해서 층간소음이나 방음문제는 못 겪었고 잠만 자고 나와서 편안하게 잘 이용했어요 ㅎㅎ 포항공대에 볼 일 있는 분들한테는 합리적인 선택인 것 같아요

This little Hotel and guest house floored us. We weren't expecting much from the price or location, but it was really clean and the staff was very friendly. Honestly, I don't know why it doesn't have 10/10.
I mean the only thing bad about this place is, it's in Pohang. Open your hotel in a tourist city and you should rake in the cash.
The breakfast was good. Not a lot of options but enough to feel like a blessing for that price.
If I ever have a reason to go to Pohang again... I'd happily stay here again with no complaints.

The hotel was really nice and in a good location for going to restaurants, and not that far from the Pohang Bus Terminal. The rooms were very clean and in good condition. There was easy onsite parking, and the breakfast was light and tasty. The owner/manager of the hotel was fantastic and so helpful and very friendly and kind. He treated us really well. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

My stay at Hotel Vallas was excellent! I come to Pohang around twice a month and typically I have stayed near Yeongildae beach. However, those hotels are more expensive due to the location and most are not as nice or clean. This hotel had excellent service and the rooms were very modern and clean. The area is surrounded by dozens of 'love motels' but this certainly should not be considered as such a motel. Parking was available and breakfast was included, though I didn't have time to try the free breakfast. The male at the front desk was kind and attentive, though he didn't speak English. This was ok since I know enough Korean to get by, but I'm sure he or any other employee would do their best to communicate if someone didn't understand something. Sometimes I feel awkward in Korean hotels as a foreigner, but I felt right at home here. Will definitely stay here again!
