Bungalows Cordial Biarritz

Don't think we've had a better stay in Gran Canaria. The place is fantastically located close to all the best places in Playa del Ingles. With the pool, mini golf, tennis and pool bar we had everything on-site we needed. The apartments are charming and comfortable, and good air conditioning!

Great place to stay. Convenient for the beach, Cita centre and Yumbo centre property was nice and clean and the environment around the resort was well maintained and quiet.

Excellent beds, space, outdoor terrace. Multiple air conditioners. Gym is tiny and the private trainer doesn’t allow any guests to use the equipment. Definitely the worst gym experience I’ve had from a place. Wifi is ok, but not always suited for programming or remote work. Though I still haven’t find a good place for remote working.

Stayed several times before - love this resort. Had a power outage this time lasting several hours and their was zero communication from the property- when they knew there was a problem affecting multiple properties - which was at best disappointing

Decent property. The included breakfast was below average. You have to pay to use the air conditioning - about 20 euros per day.

Very good stay

We had a late arrival to the property, I was concerned but didn’t need to be as someone was there waiting for us and given bungalow keys straight away. Our bungalow 103 was further away from reception then we had liked. We had requested near to reception area due to the long walk around the property. There is only one entrance and as we visited the Yumbo frequently it was a 5 minute walk one direction to reception then a 5 minute walk back on ourselves which was annoying but not the end of the world. Our bungalow was clean and spacious and adequate for our stay. Beds were very comfortable and the shower continuous hot water Whixh was great. We didn’t pay for aircon which made the bungalow extremely hot and uncomfortable. We loved our own private terrace to sunbathe and relax on and got the sun all afternoon to sunset. The pool areas are very well kept but very quiet and felt uncomfortable so retired back to our terrace. We were self catering so didn’t eat at property but we never saw the bar or snack bar open! Apparently it closes at 3pm! A supermarket is a couple of minutes away. WiFi was free and very strong signal. Our main disappointment with the property is that it’s like a ghost town! You can hear a pin drop it’s so quiet, just no life to it. This may suit some people perfectly but not for us. During the day just a handful of people sunbathing in silence, at night time nothing. There is plenty of restaurants, bars and nightlife locally and Yumbo close by.

Everything was great. We were three friends holidaying together, so to have 2 single beds in the bedroom and 2 sofa beds in the living area was perfect. Be aware that the sofa beds are 6 foot long, with "ends", so anybody taller than about 5'8" may find them too short. The staff were really helpful. Breakfast was great. Bus stop (no 30) right outside. 15 min walk to the beach. Great place to visit - beach, mountains, history. The roads are in brilliant condition, even up in the mountains, so don't be afraid to hire a car.

We stayed in a standard bungalow which meant our patio and bedroom window faced the road. This road was quite busy as it was on the route busses and coaches took to the bus station. We are fairly heavy sleepers but if you are not pay the extra to have air con so you can shut the windows at night. The apartments are near the Yumbo centre so we also had a few happy people walking past in the early hours. The bungalows are not really bungalows. They are not detached and are more like ground floor terraced apartments in rows. They were built a while ago and have been updated recently to an ok standard. We picked this place based on our experience of the Cordial standards at Cordial Mogán Valle but these apartments are not such high quality, basically because they were built a while ago. However our apartment was spotlessly clean with the expected towel and linen changes. We also had everything we needed to self cater. There was loads of space in the gardens with shade from trees and lots of spare sunbeds. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but the food looked ok. Very few people ate in the restaurant so it was always very quiet. The pool area is lovely and a guard is around during the day. The location is good 5 mins walk to both the beach area and the Yumbo centre. The staff were lovely.

Spacious and well equipped Bungalows with private outside terraces. Large communal pool. Centrally located, walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants. Downside - air con at extra charge. No check in after 11pm.

Had to pay extra on arrival to move from a road side room that was near a Bus Stop which caused dreadful noise. Moved to a poolside room which was great. They need to build a wall in place of the very thin hedge that does not act well as a sound barrier. Grounds and pool very well looked after.

Quiet self-contained bungalows in a garden landscape with a pool that has a canal section running through part of the complex providing a different feel to most resorts. Very relaxed feel with mixed clientele - some older and a few families with children. The garden style layout helps to make personal space seem quite private and homely. Simple bungalows with slightly dated interiors which I think are being refurbished during the planned 2 month closure this year. On site gym is very limited but has a few machines and a studio space. Staff very friendly and after accidentally leaving the safe unlocked all day and finding all the cash and computers etc still untouched on return from the beach I'd say the cleaners are very trustworthy in comparison to some establishments. The cleaners keep the rooms spotless although the decor is a bit dated and some furnishings tired. Kitchen is basic but had most things needed to produce simple meals. Comfortable beds and air con that works well with independent control of bedroom and living room as well a heating mode for cool days (handy in February)

Stayed there for a week. The apartment looks old and tired. It was not very clean, with stained walls etc. The beds were not comfortable, and the more around easily. There is no air conditioning, which was distressing on hot days and nights. It was hard to sleep because of the heat. There is barely 1 electric plug to charge the devices (phone, iPad etc) in all of the apartment. It truly felt like I was going back in time for decades when I stayed there. It was a disappointment. Totally not worth the price. The only good things were the location, and the pool & garden pleasant atmosphere.

Have stayed at Santa Clara which enjoyed but first time here and found this more comfortable bar area lovely.

Nice spot this, not too far from the beach and really peaceful (generally). Loved the pool (we do serious swimming so a straight line for more than 50m was fantastic, though the opening hours weren't). Decent sized rooms, fans and air con in the bedroom and main room, and a private small yard for the washing or towels. The hot plates could do with some instructions as we couldn't work out how to get them going so missed out our first evening when there was no-one to tell us but once sorted they were fine. Didn't crack the TV either - again no instructions - not that we were there to watch Spanish TV. Would I stay there again? Absolutely, though I'd first make sure that the gardeners weren't planning a pre-dawn foray blasting the leaves in our courtyard first.

This is one of the worse apartments I've stayed in in playa del ingles and I stay in the resort about 15 times a year. Rooms are very hot, old fashioned and in need of updating. Never stayed in an apartment where you can't put toilet paper down the toilet ????? . I requested a pool view and got an apartment furthest away and on the main road by the a bus stop and the buses run all nite.

We had a Bungalow right at the very back of the complex and it was on a busy road. The very loud buses go up here all day and at night all the drunk revellers from the Yumbo return at 4 or 5 in the Morning. The Apartment really need Air Conditioning - the ceiling fan are not up to the task. in Summary this is still a very good Complex and staff are very professional.

Brilliant resort. Clean and well kept pool and gardens. staff very helpful.
