Everything except breakfast is what a 5 star should be. Breakfast is sit down, which is great. But range of what is on offer like the juices, the protein is limited. Gluten free bread was schar, would expect something better at these prices. Other than that, hotel is faultless. Mediterranean restaurant run by chef Alex is very good. Rooms, better than the best hotels in the world. Clientele- no loud Americans which is a surprising and pleasant break from the rest of the hotels in Europe.

Our second visit and it was lovely. Fantastic staff. Two great restaurants. We were in an executive suite with sea view which was a fantastic room. Food at El Jardin and Rei excellent. Will definitely return.

Have stayed many times . End of season blues ? Maybe . Many wasps and ants ( biters. ! ) when dining and by pool . Outside dining / bar areas not always clean or washed . Fixtures and fittings looking a bit tired ( sunbeds , etc ) . Overall , still good ( Excellent Spa ) and helped by its golf facility .

This is definitely one of the best hotels in the world. One minute to check in, complimentary bar drinks and snacks on arrival, chilled wine on ice in room, panhaligon toiletries, top notch restaurants, milk in minibar, fab staff. Up there with the best.

Top end palatial feel, very Spanish, elegant, comfortable lots of beautiful furniture and antiques but so many nice corners to lounge in. Set in beautiful gardens with the most professional but friendly and warm service. All food fantastic. Worth the money. Downsides are I worried a bit about how much food gets wasted especially at breakfast, they don’t have an iron you can borrow you have to pay for someone to iron it for you and a shame they don’t have hot tub or jacuzzi in otherwise fabulous spa facility. Played golf and even though I’m not good survived it and loved the perfectly manicured course and again impeccable service.

The service was exceptional. The food and restaurants were amazing. Gym was amazing and lots of equipment. Place was relaxing and like that they had adult pools only and a separate family pool. They anticipated all of your needs and met them.

We stayed for four nights in August 2017 and absolutely loved it. Felt so relaxed and pampered. The staff is amazing and hotel and grounds are beautiful. The beach club is fantastic, with a great restaurant for lunch by the sea. We will be back.
