I love this place as a solo traveler to Madrid. The area is great. The price is wonderful. Was aprenhendive after I booked it but it was only one night. Must say the rooms are tiny bathrooms tiny climb stairway. It's basic. It's perfect for a seasoned traveler only. If you just got your first passport after the age of thirty years don't bother. I have to say I will stay here from now on every visit to Madrid. Not recommended for couples if you want the relationship to last. The staff are so warm and beautiful welcoming. I have stayed in all classes of hotels in the americas and Europe. This one is a keeper for me.

We liked our stay, it is just city center and grocery shop in the same building. Lack of kitchenette or a place to prepare tea or other basic meal.

Went to Madrid with friends for football. Needed a reasonable place to stay in a central location. this fitted the bill perfectly. Was quiet clean etc. Beds very comfy. The room was dated but for the money and location it was what we expected. Wi-fi worked throughout, toiletries in bathroom. Again bathroom was dated and only really a shower ( with very short bath). Local area was close to 2 metro stations, lots of bars and eateries. felt safe at night around the area as was busy until late.
