The hotel was in good condition and the service was excellent. Excellent breakfast options. The only downside was that the parking was little far from the hotel.

The hotel is spotless.Highly recommend for that ,The cleaning team is the best. Apart of that is a bit noisy,but the WORST part is that they are turning off the A/C during the night. Is not specified on their website. Don't go there in the summer.

There is no AC at night. They have AC but apparently during the warmer months they only use it during the daytime. Which is no good for tourists. If you are out exploring the city all day long, the AC is available in the room. But when you come home to sleep… They shut off the AC at night!!!! Everyone should know before they book this hotel that you will not have air condition at night. If you don’t mind sleeping in the heat, then you are fine.

The hotel location is perfect near restaurants and grocery stores as well as attractions. The room size is good compared to similar hotels.

Location was perfect and easy to get to anywhere. Hotel was spotless and staff very friendly. The only thing I would change is that they provide teaspoons and milk for tea/coffee and cups that fit the coffee machine. Enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely stay again and recommend

We had a lovely stay at the Acta Splendid in barcelona. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and tidy. The place was a beautiful and in a great location!

The staff was amazing and very attentive. Two Metro lines stop just around the corner. My room windows were frosted because they faced a very small inner courtyard. The breakfast each day was large, varied and delicious.

Excellent location. Room was small but met all expectations. Having luggage lockers and a comfortable lounge with bathrooms and showers was a treat for our early arrival when room was not ready.

Convenient hotel location, 8 minute walk to plaza Catulunya, la ramba, metro stations, restaurants and coffee shops.

We stayed here recently for 2 nights at the end of our trip and it was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We arrived late at night around 1:00am (we had already informed the hotel of our late arrival) & when our cab driver pulled up to the hotel we were sure there had been some mistake. The building was completely dark, no lights on, and looked like an apt building. We walked up and rang the doorbell twice with no answer. Panic started to set in as we stood on the street. All of a sudden a staff member appeared from behind the desk, he had been sleeping. He let us in and then proceeded to check us in in the dark. Couldn't even be bothered to turn on a light. He was strange and awkward and the whole situation was just unsettling. We got to our room and it was a bigger one than we had booked which was an upside. The room strongly smelled, and the decor was dated and drab. However, the worst part was that we had a street facing room and the windows are single paned with no soundproofing. If you value your sleep, do not book this hotel. We could hear every single street noise all night and did not sleep for the 2 nights we stayed here. A housekeeper also barged into our room one morning while I was still in bed. I would not recommend staying here at all, there are far better hotels in Barcelona.
