Hotel Castillo de Javier

Ideal location in the centre of Pamplona surrounded by bars and near the main square. The windows were excellent at keeping out the noise of the street. Room basic but all you need. The staff were lovely, breakfast was a nice little buffet and the bar was great to enjoy a drink at the end of the night with a few pintxos.

Great location for everything in Pamplona. Our room was at the back, so quiet. A street front room might not be. Beds were decent. AC worked. The bar downstairs was nice for morning cafe con leches. Staff were very friendly.

Great place to visit hotel is a little tired but you see past that, it's central location really made up for that really in the heart of the town a great experience

Not easy to find but it is in the old town so well placed for going out ,its a very typical tourism hotel small rooms and a little dated but clean

Pamplona is a great place for Tapas and chilling out. Hotel located in centre of old town so parking needs thinking about. Friendly staff; clean and comfortable. Shame it was only for one night.

Scheduled our stay for 3 nights during the summer of 2020. Covid-19 prevented our travel to Spain and we were told our reservation would be moved to the summer of 2021 (same dates). I sent a message to the Hotel in March of 2021 to confirm and was now told our reservation had not been moved but rather canceled. A refund was denied. I’m not even sure they were open during our original schedules dates.

Very small rooms , however hotel located right in the middle if the party , there is a bar right in hotel and 10 other right next to it . Perfect hotel to feel Pamplona during San Fermin festival . If you have kids and going during bull run , look somewhere else . It could be very hard to get to hotel with kids trough the street full and I mean full of people . First day of Pamplona festival you literally have to push people to get to hotel . If you travel in any other time , you should have no problems getting in and out . Overall , I am very happy with this hotel

Paploma was our favorite city to visit during our holiday to Spain! Hotel Castillo de Javier is centrally located with a great little town vibe. Parking was difficult -- you have to park several blocks away in a parking garage -- and then you walk to the hotel. Once we got our bearings using our cell phone, the hotel was pretty easy to find. The desk staff was polite and the bar staff was friendly. The room was small but it had everything we needed and it was clean. We got to people watch in the evening from our quaint balcony and then went down into the town to enjoy the nightlife (great priced tapas and tinto!). The following part is NOT about the hotel. BEWARE - our car was broken into in that underground parking garage, no damage, nothing taken because we took everything with us -- travel smart and safe.

This is not a comfortable hotel. There is a very small breakfast on offer, not enough for most people. However, the location is perfect.
