My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights at the start of March to celebrate her birthday. We chose it for its location close to the Poema del Mar aquarium. Having checked-in, we were allocated room 304 on the third floor. The room looked out onto the street where the hotel entrance was. Whilst small, there were adequate facilities for a two night stay, which included a fridge, tv, free standing fan, built in wardrobe with shelves and safe and two single beds. We found the beds comfortable and had no trouble sleeping. The en suite had a bath with shower, loo and vanity basin. Sachets of shampoo, shower gel and soap was provided. One thing that was missing was a plug for the sink. We only had one bath towel, but one was provided on request when I went to reception. Water was hot and plentiful. We opted for room only so cannot comment on the breakfast, However, we did have 2 good size pieces of cake with a tea and a coffee which was a very reasonable 6.50 euros. Also a bottle of Dorada black was 1.90 and a pint of Cruzcampo 3.00 euro, which for a hotel bar was good. The lobby area had some comfy seats and a book swap. We found all the staff helpful and polite. The Poema del Mar is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Unfortunately, despite it being just accross the motorway, there is no faster way over. There were plenty of small bars and restaurants close by, but unfortunately, the weather restricted our use of them.

This hotel is a mix of great staff, great location but with some negatives to that location. The room I stayed in (504) was spacious, had good storage and a good en suite. Unfortunately, it also overlooked the street and was directly opposite a restaurant which had a Spanish-style guitar group playing on the terrace on Saturday evening. It was also opposite an Irish pub which was definitely one of the party places on Friday and Saturday night. With no air-conditioning (not too much of an issue in March), even with the windows closed, the noise from both these establishments was intrusive. Breakfast was good each morning. Juice, coffee, bread (toasted), croissant (toasted), yoghurt, ham and cheese, butter and jam - it was a lovely start to the day. The hotel lacks its own outdoor space, which it would definitely benefit from (maybe a rooftop terrace). Staff were helpful. Probably better for a midweek break. There are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance and the beach is a short stroll away.

Clean, tidy, spacious room with lots of wardrobe space. Some elements of wear & tear but no holes and the sockets worked well! Bathroom was a bit awkwardly shaped but the hot water worked & a few toiletries thrown in is a great thing. Breakfast is a canteen style room also open to the public but it's hearty enough (bread products, ham and/or cheese + preserves, yogurt, coffee/tea & fruit juice) - just let them know room number and anything you don't want; they speak at least Spanish, English & a smattering of other European tongues....... The guys running it seem to know everyone in the surrounding area as they come in for a coffee & chat!

Lovely hotel, a few yards from Paseo Maritimo and less than 10 minutes from Santa Catalina bus station. A perfect base for enjoying Las Palmas, exploring the island and visiting family. All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, particularly at reception. Spacious, clean room with the added bonus of a fridge and a valuables safe. Slept peacefully throughout my weeks stay with no disturbance. Comfortable lobby and attached bar/restaurant too.

This is a great hotel is all you want is a cheap room to sleep in. The beds and mattresses are clean - the shower and toilet is clean. The staff at reception were friendly. The room was tired, with peeling wallpaper and the only thing to keep you cool is 1 fan - no Air conditioning. The area os the greatest downside. It is indeed, right next to the beach - however this arra stank. It smelled of garbage l, had sex and weed shops all around it. Definitely not the place to go if the hotel is meant to be part of the holiday, but a great place for if you need to stay somehwere on a budget. I was here ro visit my boyfriends family, so perfect for us.

Definitely I will return the next time that I will visit Las Palmas.
