Beautiful view from rooftop (4th floor) pool and from restaurant / lobby area (2nd floor). Only rooms on 3rd floor have sea view. Those on 1st floor and ground floor can only see garden.
Nothing around the property so need transport if don't want to eat in hotel.
Reasonable quality food in restaurant for dinner and breakfast, but nothing special.

We had a great stay with Agnus. The room was spacious, clean and it had a great sea view. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offered free tuk tuk to the nearby Jungle beach. Breakfast was really good too.

Amazing hotel made special by the staff. The views over Galle Fort are fantastic and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was amazing especially the Sri Lankan breakfast.

Hotel and staff are really friendly ensuring that we had a great stay. Great location right near jungle beach, which the staff offer a free shuttle service to. The breakfast is really nice and the property overlooks great views of Galle lighthouse. PickMe offers cheap Tuk Tuks/taxis to unawatuna/ galle. Overall had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend!

A room with a view…times100! Although I seemingly found this hotel by chance, I think it was kismet! My room was enormous and spacious, with an expansive wall of glass leading onto a private balcony, overlooking the most indescribably exquisite views of the Indian Ocean, Jungle Beach, Buddhist Peace Pagoda, and Galle. The staff are attentive, but respectful and not intrusive. The hotel offers a free tuk tuk to Jungle Beach, an exotic tropical beach straight out of the movies! Such a memorable stay at Agnus Unawatuna!!

We had such a lovely stay here. The staff were so helpful with helping us arrange Covid tests for travel and very friendly. The pool is stunning and has the best views of Galle 10/10. Definitely recommend!!

I enjoyed th friiendliness of the place, good location for me overlooking the bay towards Galle. It was a 30 min to the place I used for diving (Sun Diving).

It is when things go wrong you find out the true person inside. We stayed at Agnus Luxury Villa for 9 nights during March 2020. Corona Virus, Curfews etc, etc. We were upgraded to a sea view room on our 2nd night, we had to cancel our airport hotel as we were not able to travel due to a curfew and the Owner gave us an additional night complimentary. The chef provided complimentary snacks each afternoon. All the staff kept working with a smile on their faces. My wife and I would like to thank the Owners and all their staff for looking after us so well in difficult circumstances.
Please, do not hesitate to book this hotel in the future, 10 Minute walk to two lovely small beaches, 5/10 Minute Tuk Tuk ride (£2 each way) to larger beaches, bars, shops & restaurants. 10 Minute Tuk Tuk ride to beautiful Galle. The views from the roof top pool over the bay and sunsets were sensational. The food, beer & Wine are reasonably priced and delicious.
