Vi bokade spontant några dagar i förväg och tyckte hela upplevelse var kanon. Riktigt bra service, det kändes lyxigt att frukosten serveras i en vacker miljö, med en glimt av havet. Barnen tyckte om minigolf, och att dem kunde sova i ett eget rum.

Fräscht och trevligt, med snygg inredning trots lite enklare standard. Vi bodde i en studio med ett extra rum - gott om plats för 3. En liten promenad från huvudbyggnaden, genom en skola, men inget som störde. Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal, och god frukost.

About the only positive thing I can say for this property is that it was quiet. Also the young lady at the reception desk when we checked out, listened, was sympathetic and very polite.
Otherwise the negative points to this property overshadowed every thing else. The property was supposed to have Wi-Fi, and after checking in, there was NO Wi-Fi in our room, we returned to reception and inquired, their response was “well sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t”. My daughter absolutely needed Wi-Fi as she is a University Student. To this evening staff, a tall young man and a lady, Wi-Fi necessity was of no importance, not even important enough to give the system a reboot or a check. My daughter had to use her own personal hotspot to complete her assignments. Still worse was the Sewer stink in the bathroom it was was horrible, stronger every day, with no relief. Gottskär’s Hotel was by far our worst value for money spent on our whole Sweden visit. The reason for Gottskär is that I lived there many years ago and found the area to be charming and delightful and wanted my daughter to see the area. I also have friends nearby in Onsala. I wouldn’t book this hotel again, ever.

Beskrivning på hemsida motsvarade ej förväntningar. Gick ej att sitta utanför. Kaffe på rummet saknades. Receptionen låst. Baren/rest stängd på kvällen. Skylt med hjärtstartare att tillgå, fanns i receptionen…..
Dock var frukosten mycket god liksom bemötandet från personalen som jobbade.

Vi hamnade i en liten stuga, "studios". De hade gjort sitt bästa utifrån omständigheterna för att inreda mysigt, men stugan var daterad och det var mer en stugkänsla än hotellkänsla. Frukosten var toppen med bra utbud och mysig miljö. Det fanns en minigolfbana som vi inte nyttjade.

Vi fick ett trevligt och vänligt bemötande.
Tyvärr levde inte standarden på rummen upp till våra förväntningar och priset men det kan hända att det är vi som inte hängt med på prisutvecklingen.
Maten på restaurangen var mycket god.
Även frukosten var god.
