The hotel is very old and not well maintained. It is under renovation and they had partially started with the room I was given. Quite a poor experience. Thankfully I only stayed one night.

Nice old building

Beautiful location on the water and excellent breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel in a stunning location but could do with some refurbishment in certain areas.

The hotel is past it's former days of glory. The interior is quite dated and in need of a major overhaul. That said the staff was very friendly and the hotel is very clean. We stayed in both a suite and a nice double deluxe room (to with we were upgraded because the heater in the first room we got wasnt working). The view from the deluxe room was great but the bathroom smelled slightly of sewer. The suite was very cool with a tower with a jacuzzi and bedroom it. The cobweb in the lamps and the poor maintenance (why fix the holes in the wall with off-color wall fillers?) draw down the overall impression. The room was cool though. In the suite we appreciated the complementary in room breakfast and the complementary spa access. We didn't try the restaurant (it was full as we hadn't booked ahead as it was full online as well), but we did try the bar and the bar food menu. In the bar the food and drinks were good, but the drinks were better than the food. I would have wanted a better room service menu and more proactive help from the staff. Also the room service fee is too high for what is offered on the room service menu (if you order one main course you pay for two). Overall though we had a good visit and with the view and the very large and cool suite we would consider coming back.

If you need a place to sleep, stay here but dont expect anything more.

Fin service och vackra omgivningar. Personalen mycket hjälpsamma. Rekommenderas varmt.

Fint hotell, men lite för kallt i rummen, och lyhört tyvärr. Lite stökigt i och med renoveringen men antar det kommer bli bättre med tiden. Skön säng.

Fridfull vistelse. Minus var att frukosten hade ett litet utbud, inga frukt eller bär fanns, endast några äpplen. Inget duschdraperi fanns. Fin omgivning och bra med gratis parkering precis utanför.

Riktigt bra bott här många gånger, mycket bra service och härliga rum, utsökt frukost rekommenderas varmt

Slitet hotell men håller på och renoveras

Mycket slitet och mitt i renovering. De rum vi bodde i var riktigt slitna. De hade dragit ner på varmvattnet så att det inte gick att ta ett bad. Efter att vi bytt rum till ett ännu lite mer slitet med utsikt över en byggarbetsplats funkade vattnet fortfarande inte. Den tredje dagen fick de tag på någon som kunde skruva upp termostaten. Gulliga och trevliga i receptionen men kunde inte lösa problemet förrän sista eftermiddagen och ingen som helst kompensation.

Mysigt hotell med sköna sängar och strålande frukost.

Underbar miljö och fantastiskt fin frukostbuffé.

Inte mitt första val nästa gång jag besöker Saltsjöbaden. Vi fick ett väldigt litet rum där allt lutar och knakar, säng som har gjort sitt för 20 år sedan och kallt rum som ett kylskåp. Helt ok frukost.
