Location for train travel was excellent with barely a block to go to the station

Room as always, was spotless. Staff are very helpful and greet you warmly at all times. Location near the train station is amazingly convenient, all for a very reasonable rate. Highly recommend it.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and just extremely nice. The room was very clean and the location is ideal. Will definitely stay there again.

Design

I had a short stay, but it was a great experience overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What really stood out was the lobby staff especially marco and feven— everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They made check-in smooth and set a great tone for the stay. I’d definitely consider staying here again.

It was small but that was to be expected. The actual problem is the gap in the bathroom door, it does not give much intimacy.

Clean easy transportation great location

The hotel is located right near the train station and extremely convenient for the transportation. Super quiet and comfortable. The staffs were super helpful and friendly. I’ll definitely come back when I visit Geneva.

Great location for local transport and food, no gym in the property

The location of this property in Geneva could not be better. Literally adjacent to the train station, shopping, excellent cafés and restaurants, and within a five minute walk of the lake and the promenade. Excellent for a solo traveler or a couple. Staff was warm and attentive and housekeeping, efficient and daily. I will absolutely stay here again when I return to Geneva.

My strategy is to book a hotel within walking distance of the train station, and Hotel Cristal fits this criterion. PROs: Walking distance to a vibrant shopping streets, e.g., Mont Blanc, Berne, etc., and plenty of eateries. Small cozy hotel room with all the convenience, clean, and topnotch shower! An off-season reasonable price. Excellent breakfast on the 8th Floor with a fantastic view at sunrise! Polite breakfast assistants. Nice lounge area which I never used to relax or do anything. CONs: Room could use a larger TV screen. More central lightings needed even though eco-friendliness is at play here. Hotel still uses traditional room keys with heavy metal keychain - imagine carrying that around town in your backpack! No free local newspapers for customers. Front desk staff could be a little less formal. But again chitchat is optional, and staff is a bit too cold and formal. An excellent choice after all. Recommended.

Location is good. Walk distance to lake and train station. Plenty of food choice is around.

Helpful front desk in regards to parking options. Great location in downtown Geneva, easily walkable to anything we needed.
