Matterhorn Inn - Wellness & Dining - at Zermatt Shuttle Station

A little over priced for what you get as the bathroom is very small. No privacy on balcony and the bed is 2 single beds when I booked a double, which was disappointing as when you pay so much you hope for a proper double bed not 2 singles pushed together. I also asked them not to make our beds when I went to drop my laundry off and said to just drop off clean towels with clean laundry and they made our beds anyway which was not ideal as I had my belongings on the bed and asked them not to and I didn’t hang the “make my room” sign.. it made me upset to come back to my belongings being moved when I went through so much effort to avoid that. The laundry was so expensive as well and don’t think they listened to my instructions to wash on delicate. The sauna was the best part. Place looks better in photos. I don’t like how deceiving the photos are on every hotel that we book, the places never look as good as the photos.

The hotel was very cozy, quite and the surrounding was super picturesque and beautiful. The cleaning was very good. It's very much easily accessible to train station and grocery store. The staff is very cooperative. Overall superb experience.

Few images are not actual- no lare around here… hotel is great location, well maintained and very clean. Mountain viewon some sides othera are partially blocked, overall a good place to stay and enjoy

I got an upgrade to their 4 star resort Hotel Porta Cervino. It is brand new property and is really good. Great rooms with Balcony, coffee machine, accesible charging points.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are specious. My room was extremely hot and you don’t have a way of changing the temperature of the heat since it’s set that way for the entire hotel. I was able to open a window which helped with that. I didn’t like that there’s a fee to park your car.

Rooms were very nice and had amazing views from the balconies. The on-site spa was even better than we anticipated.

It is Switzerland so expensive but well worth the money spent. The staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. The room was clean and the spa was a nice way to end the evening

Hotel Matterhorn Inn was a great stay and made visiting Zermatt very easy. The onsite parking was a huge plus, especially since we were traveling by car, and the location near the train station was extremely convenient. The hotel staff were helpful, and both check-in and check-out were simple and stress-free. I would gladly stay here again and would definitely recommend it to other travelers visiting the area.

We actually stayed at their partner property Porto Cervino which was very nice and very close to train for trip to Zermatt. Had view of mountains but window/balcony overlooked parking lot. Did not eat breakfast there.

Great stay. We would have stayed longer if our trip allowed. Close to the train station to enable us to get to Zermatt, but better value. Great sauna!

I made a reservation and paid extra to get a hotel with a Mountain View and balcony at the Matterhorn Inn, and the night before, I was told without warning that they were moving me to their sister property called Hotel Porta Cervino. Our room was downgraded to a room that overlooked the kitchen and dump dumpsters, there was no balcony, and the room was stuffy. Because we were over the kitchen doorway, the cook and other staff from the restaurant, Wood smoke cigarettes, and their smoke would blow into our room if we had the window open. So unfortunately, we had to keep the window closed and deal with the hot, stuffy room. When I asked about the balcony in Mountain View room, they told me that hotel Porta Cervino was a higher rated hotel than the hotel Manor horn in, so they were upgrading me, even though they gave me a basic room. When we arrived at the hotel, we couldn’t check in, and the restaurant in the hotel was closed until dinner. Our whole day was disappointing, and I would definitely not recommend this hotel nor the hotel Manor Inn, because you would never know what you were going to receive for your money. if you don’t care about your room, and you’re just there to ski, this would be an ideal hotel to stay in, even though I thought it was really pricey for what you were getting.

They served nice breakfast and the dinner was delicious, great location.

It was clean, all amenities were provided sufficiently and we had an awesome view of the mountains. Highly recommended for anyone to stay here when visiting Zermatt.
