Very spacious room and excellent staff. Check-in was a breeze and the room was exactly as advertised on Expedia. Breakfast was pretty good as well. The spa wasnt working but we wouldnt have used it anyways.

We loved our stay at Hotel Simi. The location is convenient to the train station, the gornergrat train, and all that the village offers. It’s also very quiet, so there’s no risk that nightlife will interfere with sleep. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast is outstanding. The quality of the food is very high with a nice selection of breads, jams, juices, cheeses (the usual assortment included a Swiss mountain cheese, Gorgonzola, and an aged goat), European style yogurts, Swiss muesli, fresh fruit, and some made to order options like soft boiled or fried eggs and crêpes.
The ski locker room was kept nice and tidy and we really appreciated the heated boots in the morning.
Note that you can rent lockers at Bayard by the train station if you don’t like walking in boots carrying skis.
The afternoon sweet treat (a rotation of cakes and fruit crumbles) and coffee was another nice touch.
Finally, I want to make the point that the entire hotel is kept in impeccable condition. 4.7

I stayed at this boutique hotel with my two kids in a family room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are more spacious than any other traditional hotel room. We loved that. Room had both, shower and bathtub. Location is very convenient. We walked from the station to the hotel and it took us about 3 minutes. Hotel has a small steam, sauna and whirlpool which I enjoyed after a day of skiing. Bus for ski gondolas/train stops very close too.
PS. This is a traditional European hotel so you will not find a bar soap. Only liquid soap and shampoo. Which I can live without but if you can’t just pack one.
